Excellent fabrick markers.
They're are the best marker for fabric by far. The only issue is that they are thin Nd break easy. However if you wrap them.in first aid tape, they will be stronger and not break as easily. I love love the little plastic case they come with.

Good
These are my favorite. Great price, be mindful that they break easily if that is a problem for you. However, they show great on all types of fabrics.

Useful for sewing
This is my first experience with tailors chalk, so no basis for comparison; furthermore I used this product for the first time last night. I find the chalk wedges very useful for certain markings on fabric while sewing, where tracing paper would be awkward to use. I like the color selection of this product and the little container. It was carefully packaged, but still one chalk wedge arrived broken. I used the broken piece with no problem last night; just be aware that they are fragile as others have mentioned. The price on this product was much better than most others, so it’s a win for me.

Tailor's Chalk answers my call-good working sharpened chalk,ready-to-work-Plus it's in a great case.
These multiple tailors chalk work great for me! Some other types I have used are difficult to get them to mark. These come off when needed, with washing, also if you need to wipe with gentle moisture. I love that it came with a fitted good reusable quality small case. Very neat to travel to various areas I need to be in to accomplish my work and to help keep my area tidy. I am very pleased with this marking chalk. I recommend. It's a good price for the product. They come sharpened and ready for use. This will last me a good while. I will buy it again when needed.

Looked for these in fabric stores to no avail. Found them on Amazon!
What I've been looking for in stores for a while but couldn't find. Even before JoAnne's went under they didn't have tailors chalk like this (but the fabric folks knew what I was looking for.) There and other places just had fancy/messy powdered chalk with metal dispensers. I've never met a tailor that used such. These little triangles are what I know and love, and they're a lot less expensive! Some times old, tried, and true solutions beat supposed innovation. This is one of those cases. It works well. It's easy to use. It's relatively inexpensive. It doesn't tie one into a particular companies refills because there's nothing pricey to refill/loose/trash just chalk! These are a little thinner than some, but that means that they'll leave sharp lines. Maybe left lying around they could break more easily, but not a problem so far.

Clear markings; break easily
Bought these for marking lines on fabric for sewing. I've had them for a year now and have a few comments. Pros: I like that the product contains a variety of colors for marking both dark and light fabrics. I also like that the pieces are triangle-shaped and thin, making precise markings possible. Their pigment is easy to see on the fabric, though you do need to use some pressure depending on the fabric type. The chalk pieces are also separated in the cartridge which prevents the colors from mixing. Cons: The pink and blue will not wash out of lighter fabrics on their own in the washing machine; you will have to use a stain remover on them to get the color out if it's visible on your final piece. Make sure you don't put the piece into the dryer before assuring the chalk came out. They are prone to break both in the cartridge (if it fell on the floor for example) as well as in hand. They are thin and have snapped in half in my hands on multiple occasions, and when they break they are difficult to fit back into the cartridge. TLDR: They get the job done but break easily.

I wish I got these sooner. If you sew, you want these.
Lately, I've been learning to sew and draft patterns. These triangle tailor chalks are the best. They mark well. They are easy to handle. I've yet to experience any chipping or breaking. I really like using them to mark fabrics. The bold colors create a crisp clear line that facilitates cutting out pattern pieces. I will continue to use these on my other sewing projects. My only concern is the slight film the chalk leaves on your fingers. But that's not too much of an issue that would cause me to discontinue using them. This purchase was an Amazon Haul find. I'm glad I found them. They were truly inexpensive.
