I hesitantly purchased this because so many reviewers said it was hard to put away, but my 6 and 8 year old daughters are able to fully stash all the parts in the closed corvette without issue. There are many small parts and a lot of roads for such a small toy, buy everything fits as it should and works the way it should. I was surprised by two areas that propel the vehicles into mini races (the oval track and the 1/4 mile track both have a button push that then pushes both vehicles into a brief “race”). There are a lot of stickers and it honestly was a pain to put them on and figure out, but with directions and common sense, I got through it. Overall, I’d say this toy was definitely worth the money. I bought it for my 20 month old son because he has finally stopped putting things in his mouth. I can’t recommend it for such a young child, but it works for my son, and my daughters actually enjoy it more than I expected. Great buy! I would buy again and I would consider this as a gift for any car-loving kid within the suggested age range.

This is a very cool set! My 10 yr old loved it. You have to set it up to play and the extra pieces can’t be stored inside, but it is very fun and will be played with a lot.

Expensive for what it is, adult needs to assemble. Once child is done playing with it, it becomes a project for someone to reassemble again before it can be played with again. My grandson loves his micro machines but usually leaves this one in the box.

This is so awesome, but I wouldn't give it to anyone under 12. It doesn't fold out, you have to build it each time. (Multiple pieces) Ours broke within a month, now they just drive it around the house.

Maybe I have a skewed/nostalgic perception, but I remember vintage micro machine play sets being MUCH more sturdy and able to store the pieces. These new ones.. you have to disassemble SO much before it will even think to go back together properly. Then what in the world do you do with the 37 extra tiny plastic pieces you had to take off just to turn it back into a Corvette?! Ugh, just so disappointing and wasteful. My 5 year old engineer minded boy is normally so meticulous and puts things together with ease and patience beyond his years.. he was frustrated within minutes with this junk and hasn’t really been interested in it since. He enjoys the little cars but the “city” is a disappointment. Why can’t they make things to store conveniently for little hands to figure out? If I hadn’t thrown the box away I would be returning this ASAP.

I was nervous of the mixed reviews but my son really wanted this, happy to report that we received the version with all 8 cars (I guess some people received a different model number that came with 1 car)
