Elgato Chat Link Pro Audio Adapter for PS5, PS4, Switch

If you’re a gamer, I will most definitely recommend you to buy this. It’s a very affordable price is compatible with all video games and computers and the quality is a 10 out of 10 not to mention that the audio is also very clear

This is a must if you're planning to use your PS5 controller while streaming to avoid buzzing/humming, thanks to Ground Loop Isolator. It comes with splitter that includes 1 3.5mm Jack for your DuelSense Controller, Female 3.5mm Jack for your Headphone, and other 3.5mm Jack to be plugged into your Line-In Jack (PC). It only makes buzzing sound if you plugged your USB to your controller while recharging your charging simultaneously which gets annoying. Thus, ground loop isolator would completely eliminate buzzing sound, though downside is that it may cause audio to slightly lower, but negligible. You can always turn off Ground Loop Isolator after you're done charging your controller. Other than that, I recommend Chat Link Pro if you're planning to stream with your Elgato Capture Card including your headphone and controller while charging your controller to avoid producing unwanted buzzing sound.

I originally had given this a lower rating because after a few weeks/month, one of the channels failed, so I was hearing just from my right headset. I reached out to the elgato team and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service, and how quick they were to remedy the situation. Without hesitation they offered a solution that was quick and reasonable. Before the left channel failed me, it worked seamlessly! Plug and play ready and had fixed my streaming challenges. And the audio was crisp and clear! The pro version is supposed to be sturdier but with sensitive cables, things can get damaged. I received my replacement within 5-7 business days. This company was the best in treating their customers! I will continue to buy from Elgato.

I purchased this cable because when streaming while using my headset connected to my controller (PlayStation 4 & 5) and connecting my console to my PC with a capture card to stream using OBS, all the audio would go into my controller and not the HDMI which meant viewers could not hear my game or chat. With this cable I can split the audio into my controller and PC perfectly. I've recorded as well and the audio is perfect.

great product. does as intended but has a slight buzz you can still hear.. when you isolate that buzz noise then your overall sound is chopped by 70% so I guess the buzzing isn't so bad since you get your full sound . also this product is better quality than 3rd part options.

I don’t get what all the hassle is about in the comments About this Being trash but I’m on ps5 and stream through a capture card and it gets the job done on routing my audio so 5 stars for me

It shorts out badly and doesn’t work properly after the first few uses no matter how well you take care of it. I have went through 3 of these they work great for about 2 weeks to a month then they start shorting out and you can hear people but not the game sound … almost seems poorly made on purpose so you have to keep replacing them

I was having doubt if I should buy this in order to stream on my ps5 to pair up well with my laptop for streaming. It took me 3-4hrs to set up by figuring it out how this wire work. It was totally worth it. Now, I can listen to party chat & while doing commentary live stream at the same time. Luckily, I have the right headphone like with the wired Logitech headset with the microphone on it. I had my Shure mv7 plug in to the laptop. I had the wire plug to my laptop, controller & headphone for this set. For some reason, I cannot hear the audio when I plug into the elgato. It work when I plug to my laptop. I have to set my ps5 setting Audio to HDMI Device(AV amplifier). It doesn't work well with streamlab from my testing. I have to switch to OBS software in order to work. In the end, it is a good additional plug in to save me from headache for not able to party chat while streaming.
