Added a couple of rows of lights to the bottom of my monitor to light up my desk with this. Nice, soft light. Bright enough. Powers up to the previous setting. I don't need to use the inline controller much, just set it and forget it. The adhesive made it easy to install and even with a 180º turn to make two rows it keeps sticking nicely.

Exactly what I needed. I can easily plug or unplug it from the USB port on my 3d printer to get a better view.Good adhesive, easy to cut to size, and very bright.Its also a nice bright white without too much blue light. I've had a problem in the past with cheap led lights having a blue tint when they are advertised as daylight or white.Also good to note that all the pictures were taken with no other light sources in the room turned on.

I bought these lights to light a circular brass wall decor with a lot of intricate designs (holes). When you light it from inside and put it on the wall, it casts beautiful designs of light on the wall. We bought it in Morocco and missed asking them for 110 volt light strip as it was sent by their rep to our hotel. Plugging in their light strip into 110 volt outlet doesn't create enough lighting, it's very dim. I needed this strip to work without a plug in fact so that I don't have to hang it close to a wall outlet and have the wire dangle creating ugly look. While this light strip is super bright and is USB chargeable, duh me, the USB needs to be plugged to the charger at all times for the light to come on. So it's essentially the same challenge of wires hanging on the wall taking away the beauty of the wall decor. I will keep searching for other options (fairly lights that are batter operated perhaps). I do however highly recommend the quality, brightness of this product.

Usings this inside our camper to add some ambiance and soft, controllable light that doesn't disturb. Deducted a star because it could use more diffusing of the light which ends up being too harsh when set to higher levels.

Used for lighting 3D print project Dr Who TARDIS windows and top sign backlighting.A) they measure and work as advertised. Measures about 1.8mm height.B) love the . 49" cut spacing vs others at 1.5"C) soldering leads to pads after cutting was easy with a little practice.D) tried resistor and buck converter to lower brightness to reduce heat at lights. Worked great.E) strip length was right, BUT both units I got had been soldered in multiple places, as if from scrap strips. Joints soldered WELL, but I don't like the adhesive backing being the only thing holding segments together in many places. I think other sellers will have same thing though.F) adhesive backing holds VERY well. I had to remove a strip from model. It readhered well enough that I was surprised.G) if you will be enclosing them there by trapping the heat, definitely use reduced voltage. 3v still plenty enough bright, but no significant heat buildup. All the other comparable brands with similar specs to this COB strip have the same power consumption at rated voltage.After using 2, I ordered the Pautix 2m strip in a warmer 3000k light. An extra . 5m for a dollar more.No hesitation recommending these to a DIYer

The AI bot was not helpful getting the light strip separated from the 3M 300LSE double sided high strength tape. When you roll out out the strip, a small piece at the end will be attached to the spool. If you can, preserve that separation. If not, slightly heat up the end with a hairdryer and use an exacto knife to carefully separate the brown paper from the lamp strip w/adhesive. Once started, its easy pull off the rest of the brown paper and expose the sticky strip light.The lamp brightness range is great and the control will remembers last setting so you may use this on a switched outlet. Using this 300K strip as a backlight for the television. A+

I bought this strip to use in place of a neopixel skinny strip for my 3d printed Dark Saber, since I only wanted white. I chose it since the strip is cheap and appeared as continuous as possible. I had no expectations, and was hoping for just an average LED strip that would have the power to at least light up the blade. After I connected this strip, I was left in a bear catatonic state of slack jawed amazement. These were beyond bright... and I know what I am talking about. My apartment is one of those places that you would swear shares space with a black hole. No matter how many lights, it is always dim and just not bright enough. I have gone through tons of LED strips, COB's, Smart Bulbs, and etc. This strip is literally one of the brightest non-bulb lights I have used. Well, I have had others a bit brighter, but they didn't light up the room like this one does. You can see the picture of teh strip, and that is only half a strip.. my Pixel4A camera through a fit about the brightness :) With a price of $10, you can't non try it out.The only negative I have seen, is that I ordered a 4000K cool LED strip, since warm just wouldn't match the Dark Saber, but this is very very warm. So keep that in mind, these run on the hot side of the spectrum.

Have a nice sunny white to them, and look good. However, when I was peeling them off the paper, the glue stuck to the paper and not the strip, so I had to put the strip on with blue tac. Definitely not ideal.
