I’m surprised that I actually really like this stuff! I have thick, wavy hair with some curls and the gel helps keep them defined for days even after being combed out. My hair is still soft and not crunchy even after multiple applications. The scent isn’t great but I don’t mind it too much since it doesn’t linger in my hair. I’ve never tried a curl cream that worked as well as this one

I like the stuff a lot but it is a bit pricey. For the record, my hair is fine, extremely curly, and naturally frizzy.

This gel is really lightweight and does a nice job defining curls without making them feel heavy or overly crunchy. It helped with frizz and gave my curls a little more bounce while still keeping them soft and touchable. The hold is definitely more medium than strong, so I did notice some definition fading as the day went on. The 2 oz size is small, but it’s perfect for trying it out or for travel. Overall, a good curl gel if you prefer a softer, more natural hold.

I have thick, coarse, wavy hair. When I put product in it, my curls actually look nice! I thought I would give this product a try. I wanted something that is going to help shape my curls, but also not feel “heavy” or make my curls look “crunchy”. I love this product! It smells nice, gives my curls the definition they need, and my hair feels soft after I’m done diffusing it with the blow dryer. I also don’t feel like I need to use a ton of product to get the definition I’m looking for, which is a plus, as this is a little more expensive then other products I’ve tried. It is now my go-to product.

Not a fan, made my hair crunchy and didn't do anything as far as giving the definition I was looking for. Made my hair feel dry. A 1 time purchase for me.

Actually worked without leaving buildup! I didn’t follow directions perfectly so my hair didn’t turn out perfectly BUT I wanted to say this stuff was a big improvement to my hair. First pic in the blue shirt was without Curlsmith, then during the application, then the following morning because I did sleep in it a little damp. I also brushed it out for more volume so your hair might look better lol. But yeah this works great for me made my hair look and feel great too!

This gel is excellent for anyone looking specifically for SLIP in a hair gel. I had a hard time finding a non-sticky formula that worked well on my fine hair, and this one delivers. The hold is medium.

Took a while to figure out the process/amount necessary for my hair (curly girls, you know what I’m talking about!) but now I have it’s working fantastically. Makes those curls form and last! Product seems to last well, given how much I use. Good value at the discounted rate of £10, but would honestly pay full price (though feel a bit sick about it). Once the product is scrunched out, you don’t feel it at all which I love. Hair is soft. Used in combination with a curl smith curl cream. Long, thick 2C/3A for reference.

Very light gel yet it gives a medium hold to your curls without drying it out. Don’t have to use a lot to get the results you want. Worth every penny
