What size batteries does that’s take please ?

The Revival Uno takes 4 x AA size Batteries

My last roberts radio was 5* until the leather started to peel off - now it looks a mess . it still works but looks bad. should i risk another?

I have two of these, one has sat on the windowsill in sunlight and has started to peel, the other one in my study (away from direct sunlight) and it's fine. I agree with the earlier answer - treat the case with a leather cleaner / protector you'd use on leather car seats and they will keep looking good for ages. Overall a very good DAB radio.
