Tend Skin Razor Bump Solution, 4 ounce, Post Shaving & Waxing, for women & men

I've dealt with ingrown hairs on my neck after shaving for years now. I have coarse and curly hair which is a recipe for disaster as far as ingrown hairs are concerned. After shaving, within a couple of days I would always have neck hairs curling back into the skin or growing in awkward directions causing irritation and red spots/pimples. I knew it was the hair causing it because 9 times out of 10 there would be a hair growing directly in the center of the spot, or the hair would be growing back into my neck and poking into the skin causing irritation. I tried different shaving gels and razors but nothing worked. My face is generally 95-100% clear at all times, but I would always end up with anywhere from 1-2 to 10 or more red dots/pimples on my neck. It was really frustrating and a bit embarrassing because they stood out so much. However, this product has been a life saver. I've only been using it about 10 days or so, but I have seen SO MUCH improvement. For the first few days, I used it twice as day as directed in order the clear up existing spots. I didn't see anything drastic overnight like some people have said, and in fact it seemed to make existing spots come to a "head" and my neck looked a bit worse for the first few days. Either that, or my skin was irritated from this new product at first. I'm not sure, but after about a week of use I saw NO new spots after shaving and the old spots were fading away. As of writing this review, my neck has had basically no new spots/pimples and all the old ones are nearly gone. I am VERY impressed with the results. I now use it only once after I shave, and generally go 2 days in between shaves. *note* This stuff DOES have a slightly strong alcohol smell because the first ingredient is isopropyl alcohol. It smells almost exactly the same as a bottle of isopropyl alcohol. And it did sting quite a bit for a few seconds the first few days I used it, ESPECIALLY after shaving. It wasn't anything too intense, but you ARE putting a small concentration of rubbing alcohol on freshly shaved skin so you can expect to feel a burn at first. For me, it goes away nearly completely after a few seconds and it is less harsh the more I have used it. I don't feel it much at all when I apply it now, even after shaving. I also generally shave at night before going to bed, so I don't worry about the smell after applying it. However, if you are going to use it in the morning before going out for the day you may want to use it a few hours before or apply some scented moisturizer to cover the smell. The skin on my neck did seem to peel a bit the first few days but I haven't noticed and peeling since. Conclusion: This stuff has worked WONDERS for the ingrown hairs on my neck. After about 10 days I have had no new spots and the existing spots are nearly gone, making my neck look and feel so much better. The smell is strong and the sting is noticeable the first few times I used it, but now I don't feel it that much when I apply it. I'm down to only using it once a day after I shave and the results have been great. I expect to be 100% clear with little to no new spots withing the next week or two. GREAT STUFF!!!

Total game-changer. This is a MUST for anyone who shaves say goodbye to razor bumps. It works similar to rubbing alcohol, so there is a slight sting right after shaving. Apply gently with a cotton pad. Don’t overdo it too much can cause mild chemical exfoliation and small amounts of peeling. It doesn’t hurt, but moderation is key. Used correctly, it leaves skin smooth, clear, and bump-free. Absolutely worth it.

I use the Wizker brush for my daily anti razor bumps routine but i needed something to help with the razor burns as well. I got Tend skin and i can say there couldn't be a better combo of products. Tend skin works great for razor burns and in combination with that the Wizker works best for razor bumps. The result is baby smooth skin! Tend Skin + the Wizker = the perfect marriage!!! I have to update this review since i found a way to get even better results with my smooth skincare routine. Also the review above was short after i got it so i would like to add my experience after long use of this product because it works wonders. Tend skin claimed successfully its comfortable long term spot inside one of my beauty and self care drawers. I’ve been using it everytime i shave since the first time i got it and has never disappointed. When i shave i usually get annoying razor bumps and burns. Besides the bumps my skin is really red at the places the razor passed. It was painful and ugly. No bueno! Luckily i found a way to treat all the bumps and burns. When i first bought it i was already using The Wizker brush which is meant to treat razor bumps and ingrown hair. The Wizker brush and tend skin turned into the perfect combo in treating my problem. I used to shave, then brush few times my freshly shaved skin while still in the shower and voila!!! Bumps were going away miraculously. To further eliminate the redness on a shave day i would go to my bedroom pull out my tend skin from my beauty skin drawer, soak a piece of cotton with it and after very short initial tingling and uncomfortable sensation from the alcohol in it my redness from the razor would disappear. Every time after using those 2 products together my skin would feel fresh, clean smooth and polished and would have healthy, even looking skin tone. No redness no bumps! Even though i thought it can’t get any better for my surprise i was wrong. A new brush Wizker Body Exfoliating Razor Bumps Brush came out and i had to have it. Looked much more feminine and upgraded. My tend skin was about to have a new lover :D it has this really cute curvy shape which makes it great fit for women’s curves and delicate areas like armpits and bikini area. It has 2 levels of bristle softness throughout the body of the brush which helps you customize it according to your preference to achieve best results and get rid of all the bumps even at the toughest to reach spots. Bristles are much more than the original Wizker, they are smaller, more flexible and if you are a girl that needs to get few extra spots covered all over your body this will give you even better results. And besides that its amazing amazing exfoliating whole body brush and i enjoy massaging my skin under the shower. I come out exfoliated, relaxed, shiny bright skin no bumps. I slap some tend skin to polish my results and get rid of redness at the problem areas and i am done! Mission accomplished. See... now i think it really can’t get any better than that!! I have a lot of razor bumps and ingrown hair scars on my legs. It started to get annoying so I purchased this product. I've been using it for about a week now 2 times a day (morning and night) as it mentions to do. It's like an alcohol consistency, so when applied I quickly rub it into my legs. I haven't been needing to use a lot of product though so far (i was surprised how small the bottle is) What I noticed about it was the smell. I didn't mind the alcohol smell, but realized maybe 10 minutes later it had like an odd sour after-scent. But then the scent goes away about maybe 30 min-1 hour. Despite the smell, I'm impressed by how it's gotten rid of many of my razor bumps and ingrown hairs. I'd say it's improved overall 90% of my legs, as I do still see some areas here and there. I've used it after I shaved (I even use a gentle exfoliant soap) which may have also contributed to less razor bumps/ingrown hairs. After shaving, I will say it does sting for a second when applying this product. But the results though still leave my legs softer and smoother in appearance.

The ONLY product that makes ingrown hairs vanish. I use it after shaving to make ingrown hairs a thing of the past. Old school product that is worth the price! The bottle lasts FOREVER, a little goes a long way. May sting when applied to freshly shaved skin, but the pain only lasts a few seconds. Great for men or women. Smells like rubbing alcohol but scent doesn’t linger.

I've been suffering with chicken skin on my armpits for years and this product was introduced to me by my coworker who swears by it so I ordered this and tried it. I started using as soon as I received it last Wednesday. The instructions said to used it AM and PM which I did. The 3rd day using this product I noticed bumps on my right hand that I thought were flea bites so I just ignored thinking they will go away in 1-2 days. But day past by the red bumps became worse and this time I have it on both sides of my knees as well. Because I was so worried I booked a video appointment with one of the MD at stanford urgent care and she diagnosed me with contact dermatitis, she said that I was exposed with a substance the caused an allergic reaction. Stupid me didn't think of this product as a result of my allergic reaction so I still use it even though I have rash on my hand, side/behind my knees and both elbows. I'm just taking zyrtec and applying hydrocortisone to fight the itchiness. Until, last Wednesday (finally!!!) I realized that this product was the only NEW product that was added on my routine so I STOPPED using it and, lo and behold, all my rashes are starting to go away!. If I would rate the product effectiveness I would give it 5/5 because in just a short period of time I noticed a huge difference on both of my armpit It's just so sad that I'm allergic to this product. This is my second bottle, but first time purchased from here. It's legit, same formulation. These are amazing for getting rid of those almost acne looking razor bumps, I had some very bad bruising ingrown hair after waxing. So twice a day I applied on the affected area by first applying directly on my fingertips or the area and rub in, I use very little, like a few drops. Then I use a cotton pad and pour a few squirts on there and very gently rub again. (this was the story after I ran out of my first Tendskin and didn't repurchase, ingrown issues started to happen again... Which is now gone) It works wonders! The skin feels smooth, hair grows out nicely. There's this alcohol scent to it, and on first application the skin really burns! That's when you know it's working its magic. Once the burn feeling subsides, even if you reapply, it won't burn. That's how I know I've treated the area. Other times, when you don't shave or wax, it doesn't really burn, just a cool feeling. It's also very drying but that's not a bad thing in my books. A 4 Oz bottle would last me a good 3 months, only cause I use it very sparingly. Otherwise it'd have been rather a costly affair. Be sure to secure the cap tightly as it can spill easily (like your facial toners). Overall, an amazing product, and a must have for anyone that shaves or waxes and has ingrown issues, razor burns, bumps etc. Thank you!

I love Tend Skin. I’ve been using it for over 20 years and still keep multiple bottles around because it works that well. I was first introduced to it by my esthetician back when I was doing electrolysis/early laser hair removal, and I’ve used it ever since. It’s my go-to for pretty much everything: ingrown hairs, razor bumps, post-wax/shave irritation, and even the occasional pimple. When I dab it on, the pimple is gone by the next day. Magic. It also helps for random cuts and ingrown hairs, etc. Fair warning: it smells strong (like rubbing alcohol) and it can sting for a second, but it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. Price tip: you can often find it cheaper at Black beauty supply stores (I’ve seen it around ~$15), but I usually grab it on Amazon for convenience—especially when I used to live abroad and would stock up in Canada. Highly recommend—just don’t buy it expecting a spa scent

Ich plag(t)e mich seit vielen Jahrzehnten, schon seit ich mich rasiere, mit vielen eingewachsenen Barthaaren und Pickeln herum. Optisch einfach hässlich, und natürlich auch schmerzhaft. Nach jeder Rasur dauerte es ein bis zwei Tage, bis mein Hals überhaupt wieder halbwegs normal aussah. Und dann musste natürlich auch schon die nächste Rasur erfolgen. Von einer Firma, die Rasierer und Klingen vertreibt, wurde mir Tend Skin als absolutes Wundermittel für rasurgeplagte Härtefälle wie mich empfohlen. Nachdem ich in all den Jahren schon unzählige Produkte, Cremes, After-Shaves und Mittelchen erfolglos ausprobiert habe, war ich auch diesmal entsprechend skeptisch. Meine Hoffnung wurde nicht enttäuscht. Tend Skin funktioniert wunderbar. Nach der Rasur 5-10 Minuten warten, bis die Haut komplett trocken ist. Dann einen Wattebausch mit Tend Skin tränken, und die rasierten Stellen großflächig abtupfen. Es brennt ein wenig und riecht wie im Krankenhaus - denn Basis ist Isopropylalkohol, das im medizinischen Bereich als Desinfektionsmittel benutzt wird. Parfüme sind keine enthalten. Zweiter und wohl entscheidender Wirkstoff von Tend Skin ist die enthaltene Acetylsalicylsäure, im medizinischen Bereich auch als Wirkstoff von Kopfschmerztabletten wie Aspirin bekannt. Dieses wirkt schmerzlindernd und entzündungshemmend. Schon Minuten nach der Anwendung von Tend Skin auf der Haut gehen die Rasurrötungen zurück und das typische Brennen verschwindet. Nach nur wenigen Rasuren und anschließender Benutzung von Tend Skin war ich praktisch frei von Rasurpickeln und eingewachsenen Haaren. Ich liebe es! Man geht einfach mit viel mehr Selbstbewusstsein durch die Welt, wenn man am Hals nicht immer aussieht, als hätte man eine ansteckende Hautkrankheit. ABSOLUTE EMPFEHLUNG! Ich werde nach all den Jahren mit leeren Versprechungen definitiv nie wieder ein anderes After-Shave Produkt als Tend Skin verwenden. ========================== NACHTRAG: Seit meiner letzten Bestellung von Tend Skin Solution 4 oz (118ml) sind nun ziemlich genau 12 Monate vergangen, in denen ich es nach jeder Rasur benutze. Das Fläschchen neigt sich nun langsam dem Ende zu. Wenige Milliliter sind noch übrig, die vielleicht noch einmal für drei bis vier Wochen ausreichen. Deshalb habe ich nun eine neue Flasche bestellt. Bei durchschnittlich 4 Rasuren pro Woche reicht mir ein 118 ml Fläschchen also etwas länger als ein Jahr. Somit ist Tend Skin wirklich auch sehr ergiebig.

Best solution I've found for ingrown hairs/razor burn. I use this after a hair cut. As I get a skin fade I'd find after a day or two the back of my head would break out in razor bumps and spots. This has put a stop to that! I apply straight after a hair cut then morning and night for the next few days would seems sufficient to keep any unwanted bumps at bay. The price of this has risen a lot over the past 5 years but a little goes a long way and for me it's worth every penny!

Had a pretty gnarly ingrowth problem and Tend Skin sorted it out in just under 20 days. It can be difficult to get used to the strong smell, and it does sting when applied on exfoliated skin but overall it's definitely worth it. Not only did it help my current ingrowth problem, daily use of it after a new waxing clearly prevents more ingrowth forming. It's well worth the price. Plus, even though it may not seem like there's a lot quantity-wise, a little does go a long way. I've been using it twice a day for about a month now and I still have over half the bottle left.
