How many times can you use these straws before they're worn out?

They are made of really good quality silicone. I've been using these type of straws for years and have never had one wear out on me. Had kids and grandkids bite parts off. The only thing I did not like about the 15 in straw was that the opening was too narrow. I was already use a wider one. It's like going from a McDonald's straw to a KFC straw

Can they be used in hot drinks like coffee?

Yes but I'm sure the heat will make them wilt. They aren't very stiff. I like using them because I can tuck them into my thermos and then pull them up to drink.

Is the straw firm or flimsy? I need for a tumbler….

Great for tall mugs, thermoses, or large bottles.

Cleans in dishwasher. If using chapstick or lipstick, wipe off with paper towel first. Fits on top rack or silvetware holder in middle away from coils. Great for large thermos! Thank you!
