This electric carving knife worked great! It cut through our Thanksgiving turkey perfectly—clean slices with no effort at all. I have carved 3 turkeys and a standing rib roast with this knife. So far so good. Easy to handle, and easy to clean. We see how durable it is. The price was good as well. Will update if an issue comes up.

Our dining room buffet where I was carving is across from the outlets, and I had to scramble to find an extension cord 20 minutes before dinner. Kind of killed the smooth host vibe I was going for. Also fair warning - it's loud enough that conversation stops when you fire it up. Not a huge deal, but just know everyone will be watching you carve. Does the job beautifully and makes you look like you know what you're doing. Just make sure you have an extension cord handy if your carving spot isn't right next to an outlet. Solid design and cuts right through a turkey. Can't speak of a ham as I haven't baked one yet. The size is great and easy to use.

well my mother-in-law is over 80 years old and she is living with my stepdaughter at the moment. my mother-in-law loves to cut meat not like meatloaf like a half a pig. so she said she wanted an electric knife but it had to be really lightweight so this was the most lightweight one I could find. well I gave it to her in the box and she and my daughter-in-law said they didn't need any help it would be fine they could put it together. so then they tell me it works great on this ham it's not too heavy they love it. so then my husband gets a call LOL they have a problem so he goes over there and unplugs the knife and goes through the box turns out they didn't have the blades in right in fact they only had one in lol

Decent enough but the blades are not extremely sharp and feel rather flimsy, like they can be easily bent… Nice and compact design, would have been nicer if it had a sharpening tool, and maybe a storage case for it!
