I had replaced the blades on my Panasonic razor since it had been a few years and the old blades would occasionally pull instead of cut. I looked at the foil and it looked OK, so I waited to replace, but after a couple shaves, I wasn't getting the close shave that I expected so I replaced the foil too, and it made a huge difference! Wow, it's like a new razor now... while the battery life has diminished, it's still a good cordless razor so until that changes, this little upgrade will save me from having to spend $$$ for a new razor.

I bought my first Panasonic wet/dry shaver about 8 years ago and just purchased a new one late last year. They are great. The only thing I have to buy is replacement foils and blades when they wear out or get broken. The razors are resiliant but the foils and housing are plastic so if you drop it these will most likely break, but they do not wear out quickly and blades are bought very infrequently. Amazon is way less on price than ordering through Panasonic and the products are genuine Panasonic. If you need replacements go to the Panasonic web-site, key in the model number of your shaver and you can locate the numbers for the replacement parts then come back to Amazon and order your replacement parts. I find that a good triple blade works great on my beard. A little deception however, the blades they refer to are the rows on the foil. Even if it is a two blade or three blade it is only going to have 2 rotating blades under the foil. But please understand me even though there are only two actual blades on the triple blade razor the triple rows on the foil do make a difference. I tried one with just double rows on the foil and it did not shave as close as the triple did.

Some have mentioned these replacements don't seem as good as they used to be but I disagree. It works great and have had no issues. Some people have foil tear issues but I think it's some beards are rougher on these foils than others. I have a full beard but have never had a tear issue with these before I need to replace.

Works as expected to replace the original foil. Gave new life to an old shaver that had broken plastic piece on the shaver foil.

I replaced my shaver blades after 1 yr but still wasn't getting a smooth shave. I read replacement of the foil is also needed. So after replacement shaver looks great !! Foils aren't cheap but neither are razor blades and shave cream.

I dropped my razor on the porcelain tile floor in my bathroom and broke the center cutter. This was an exact OEM replacement.

Standby for when my original wears down... so now my Panasonic shaver can extend its lifespan!

This is an OEM product, made for Panasonic in in Japan. It fits many of the older shavers. To check fit, call Panasonic(# is on website) or look in the manual. Buying @ Amazon gives you the best pricing and by adding on an inexpensive add-on , shipping will be free. Panasonic will charge you for shipping. To remove old foil, carefully squeeze side tabs on your foil holder and gently remove. Then just push new foil into old holder. Foils should be lubricated after cleaning with clipper oil. Wahl oil is as good as any other and available on Amazon for less than Braun or Panasonic. The Wahl oil should last about a year if you buy the large bottle. BTW, its what most barber shops use, since their clippers are around $175.00 each. At that price you can't afford not to lube the blades, foil or on my Panasonic-the moving slide in the trimmer, as well.
