Shimano quality as expected. Even their cheaper deraileurs work well.
Nice Genuine Deraileur. New in Box. Colors match my black and silver bike. Compatible with Shimano Cassettes and Microshift 10 speed flat bar shifters. My summer bike project is coming along nicely. Will report back if there are any issues.

Tremendous value
The entire Tiagra 4700 Groupset is very good. I'm running 3 bikes with it. I've had Dura-Ace, Ultegra,&105 in the last 20 years, and Shimano has shared much of the high end tech with the Current Tiagra offerings.you won't be dissapointed. Don't think of the older Tiagra, this is good stuff.

Had it installed at LBS. Have done a trainer ride and a road ride, and it works great

Quality for the Price
It's basically a 105 body with a stamped steel cage and the 105 is basically a copy of the Ultegra... which is basically a copy of Dura Ace. Using it with a KMC 10-speed chain with no issues.

Proper fit
Made my shifting precise. The old part was worn and shifted whenever it was in the mood, now I call the time to shift.

A fine derailleur, but mind the pull ratio
No complaints with the Tiagra 4700 series drive train, which we have on a couple of our bikes. Just be aware that the indexing ratio is akin to that of its 11-speed cousins in the 105 and Ultegra lines, so it's not backward-compatible with older 10-speed Shimano shifters.

Faulty construction
I bought one of these and had a reputable bike shop install it, & they could not get it adjusted correctly. It kept switching gears on its own.. I took it home and saw the spring was installed in the wrong place so I took it off and ordered another one, the new one that showed up was also assembled incorrectly.. I expect more from Shimano, and wasted alot of time and some extra money. Still at square one weeks later. UPDATE ordered this a few more times and ALL are assembled incorrectly. Even from different sellers.
