One night, Patricia Collins (Alison Eastwood) is called to the morgue to identify a body. To her horror, the victim lying on the gurney is a mirror image of herself! While trying to make sense of this mystery, she must also convince the insurance company that her missing father, Dr. Burton Collins, is dead. In the absence of a body, they maintain he has faked his own death to commit financial fraud. Hoping to clear his name, Patricia delves deep into her father's affairs - and discovers he was hiding a guilty secret. When the evidence starts to suggest her father was responsible for her look-alike's death, Patricia starts to wonder if he is, indeed, alive.
