Subtle purple light
Worked great! Perhaps a more subtle purple light when placed in a carved pumpkin, but worked great for us.

They are very bright. They hold 2 batteries that you could actually purchase when they die but they are only the size of a quarter. Actually between a nickel and a quarter in size. Good quality.
