not sure about the 2950 but i had an R610 with rails in it and it fit fine

Is this product easy to use?

Yes, I found it easy to work with. A one piece rack may have the advantage of being a bit more rigid, but this rack, when properly tightened up is still rugged enough for most use and gives you the ability to set the rack depth according to your needs. I have two 4U server cases and a 2U smaller system in mine, along with a switch, patch bay etc. and have left space for a UPS at the base. As stated in my review left years back (I bought one for my workplace then later one for myself back then), I make two recommendations. (1) Be sure to assemble everything finger tight before you grab your wrench for the final tightening. You should have a small "torpedo" level on hand (preferably magnetic along one side) to assist you in making sure the uprights are properly vertical before tightening. (2) Order your cage nuts from another source (I recommend stayonline.com). I found the spring steel used in the included StarTech nuts to be inferior (only time I've been underwhelmed by a StarTech product). Have fun!
