This brand is the factory replacement
(RobertShaw) is the Exact factory part I needed, straightforward & easy install. Unplug or shut off breaker power. Remove selector knob. Remove the 1/4 head screws in the rear control panel cover. Unplug the wire connectors to control unit. Remove the two 1/4 head screws from control unit. Put the new control unit in place and replace wire connections, panel screws, control knob and resupply power & test unit. Picture of control unit in my hand was the factory part I removed which was a RobertShaw.

Pretty much like the original it replaced with same markings, manufacturer stamps etc. Works flawlessly.

Exactly what was needed to replace the broken one. Easy task, if you can handle an screwdriver and have some small sockets, you can do it yourself in around 10 minutes.

Elderly man needs a local permit to pick up a screwdriver. "DIY" to him means, "Do it yesterday" Lo and behold. He managed to "unspend" $300 to get his dryer back to snuff, buying this timer and installing it. After a couple months working AOK might raise the stars to 5. or more.
