Outstanding Shaver! Two Years of Use with Minimal Blade Changes
I purchased this **FlexSeries Electric Head Hair Shaver** about **two years ago**, and I’m still impressed with how well it performs. Over all that time, I **have not had to change the blades until now**, which says a lot about the build quality and durability. One tip I discovered early on: using **soapy suds before shaving** makes a huge difference. It helps the shaver glide smoothly and gives you a **very close shave without any nicks or irritation**, even on sensitive skin. After using it on my head for years, I also found it works great for **shaving my face** — just as comfortable and effective. This shaver has been extremely **dependable and easy to use**, which is why I’ve **recommended it to the male staff at my workplace** — and they’ve all been pleased with it too. Overall, I’m **very satisfied with this product**. It’s durable, dependable, and gets the job done cleanly and comfortably. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable electric shaver.

Hubby loves it
Bought for the hubby for Xmas. He wanted a head shaver and this one had good reviews so I bought it. He uses it every other day. I’m happy because I don’t have to shave his head for him anymore. It gives him a close shave and is easy to use and clean. He did learn his hair can’t be to long though, like a week of growth or it will clog and it is hard to clean so keep that in mind. But it’s so easy and quick enough to zip though before he goes to work. Great product. He loves it.

Update: - Battery Life: After using it for a couple weeks now I'm very happy with the battery life. I have been able to use it daily to shave my head and it didn't budge for the week. Charged it towards the weekend even though it was still going strong - Cleaning: when using it dry, the cleaning using the included brush is a little cumbersome and takes several minutes. The use of compressed air might help but I'm not getting a can just for this. However, if you forgo the brush and try to get the hairs removed with water alone, that's where the described mess starts and you need even more work to clean it out. On the positive side, I realized that when opening the little blade flaps you can push a little further to lock them in open state. The videos talk about 90 degrees angle and also mention to be careful. That allows to keep all open at the same time for cleaning without them closing on you. I have been using electric shavers for my head for years now. From the old school gold-foil Wahl to a Norelco with 3 shaving heads. The Freebird compares in regards to the Norelco. The shave heads are a little smaller but there are 5 vs 3 on the Norelco. Both are flexible and follow the contour of the head. Both require to go over the spot several times if the hair is a little longer (like 3-4 days), beyond that both require to go over with the clipper first. And here the Freebird has the advantage with the provided clipper accessory. I did not try the other ones yet like the nose hair trimmer but it seems like a welcome extra. Battery life I can't tell yet. I connected it to the charger after each use and cleaning so I haven't come to the point of the battery being close to empty. My only grief is the cleaning. It is advertised as simple and the videos provided on social media emphasizing this. But in reality it is a little more involved. The center head removal with wet fingers is a challenge. Also look out if doing it above the sink, it's small enough to escape down the drain. The other 4 heads can be opened a little easier (if you have at least one fingernail left a little longer) by putting the nail under. the little "grippier" areas on the sides are useless. Once you open them and either started brushing the hairs out with the included little brush ("cute") or used water to rinse it clean you will notice that they close easily by themselves. I recommend to work on one at the time. Even with the little brush however, the hairs are hard to remove around the blades. The blades themselves can't be removed it seems (and maybe for good reason because these really would go down the drain in a sec) but it requires some effort to clean the hairs out of there, especially if used wet or already tried to clean it with water. Careful use of a flexible plastic toothpick and some blowing worked. Just be careful not to break the small plastic struts that keep the blade in. Here my Norelco has the advantage as the blades can be removed with a single twist for cleaning as well as to install replacements. The shave feels a little smoother then with other shavers and does its deed. If I feel like it I can easily follow up with a quick wet shave using a standard 3 blade razor and shaving cream.
