i bought this item three times as gifts and the loved it .

Let's face it it isn't particularly hard to open a bottle of wine but anything that makes tasks easier can't be frowned upon. After installing four double a batteries in the main unit it was ready to try out. It was a simple as placing on the bottle top and operating the button to make it to do its business. I was impressed how quick it's open the wine I imagine it would be good to avoid unnecessary cork breakage that you sometimes get. To be sure the review was fair and accurate I have tried it over a number of evenings obviously open your new bottle each time to ensure its operation was okay - Im happy to report it didn't let me down - Hic! The pouring spout and stoppers are handy accessories to have it in the drawer but I think it's a crime to not finish a bottle of wine and don't really struggle to pour wine effectively. I already have a proper aerator spout which I would use on any red wines. For the price it seems pretty reasonable value and makes a very easy job even easier!
