First time trying it's okay just got to aquire the taste.

The pods came broken. 90% of the pods are all busted. Will not order again.

So good and they were bigger than normal sizes sold around my area. Fresh too.

I love sour Tamarindos but this batch is super sour. I can only eat a little at a time. I've ordered this brand many times and it's always been sour with a lil sweetness but this batch is beyond anything I've tried before. Don't eat too many or you'll burn the inside of your mouth due to the tartaric acid. The package was fresh and the pods were whole and not in pieces.

Open a few and all seemed to be sour. Found some at Walmart that was good and sweet for cheaper price.

First, shipping....I received my order and all of the pods were crushed, but the fruit had not yet dried out. It seems to me that this is an Amazon issue and not the seller. Amazon shipped these pods in a slightly padded envelope. Obviously they are going to be crushed during shipping. For that alone, I wouldn't order these again. This is my first experience with tamarind, so not exactly sure of what they should taste like fresh. I tried one and it was extremely sour. Like puckering sour. I like sour, so it worked for me. I didn't get a lot of sweet out of it, but it wasn't bad either. I've tried some nasty tasting supplements for my gut health, so the sour here was a step up from some of them. I will continue eating them. I will just have to find a local store that carries them to avoid the shipping issue.

This Tamarind fruit is very tasty and enjoyable to eat. Simply pull out of covering and take the seeds out of the pulp. Just eat the tangy pulp and discard the seeds.

Sooo sour, Pods came broken, smell good though, I’ll figure out something to do with them.
