The string is very long. the lights are small but they are very bright and the flower shape is very pretty making it look great in any season. I like the clear wire, the actual flowers are pretty, & they give a nice ambiance to the living room. I absolutely hate the control box though. It's awkwardly designed & unfortunately, one of the wires slipped out of it this past week.I'm past the return date from when I purchased, so I'm going to take apart the box to see if there's a way to bypass it.
