Will this card work in a hp omen 45l gaming computer?

Depending on the HP Omen 45L build, if an available x1 bin or larger is available it can be installed. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact Support@VisionTek.com or (866)883-5411.

Is this card compatible with a Mac

I wouldn't know because i installed on a PC. I wanted this to work with a Drobo, but it does not. Lots of problems with anything plugged into the card and restarting your computer. I recommend if you want USB 3 ports, you buy another computer with it installed from the factory.
