Cliff Keen Headgear

Best head gear I've ever owned (wish I had these in high school during my wrestling days). Use it now for Brazilian jiu jitsu and I don't even know it's on so it's comfortable (how often can you seriously say that about head gear)? Easy to adjust and clean (I just throw it in the washer after training and then air dry it). Ears are well protected after I had 3 ear drainings and 4 stitches. Training partners don't have a problem with it.

Just purchased the headgear for jiu-jitsu a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. The headgear is easy to clean and fits securely even when rolling aggressively. I use a solution of bleach and water (2 bleach cap fulls with a sink full of water) to clean after practice. I let it soak for 5-10 minutes in the solution and then lightly rinsing with water. I let it air dry afterwards. Great product. Very comfortable. Hope this helps.

Unlike some other ear guards, like the old clam shells, that basically just press against your ear to immobilize it; these ear guards have a little pocket for your ear to go into and roam freely. This makes it much more comfortable. The picture makes it look like they may be a little too thick and interfere with squeezing your head through tight places, but I've found them to be no worse than any other ear guards in that respect. The straps are nylon with velco which I have found to be just as secure as the plastic kind, but a little more comfy. All in all a very good product.

Great fit. No slipping so far after about 2 months training. It has prevented the return of my cauliflower ear. As a beginner I am constantly in bad positions with a lot of pressure on the head from some big strong folks. The gear does the job very well protecting my ears. I don't notice I have it on anymore during training as it is very comfortable. Hearing is not affected. Ventilation is sufficient. Easy to clean. Glad I purchased. Some of my training partners have complained that the gear bothers them because the outside shell is hard. They do not wear head gear.

This headgear has been a wonderful addition to my son's wrestling gear. It is easy to adjust and doesn't fall down in front. It is easy to make it fit perfectly around his head and holds tight enough to feel secure, but loose enough to not be restrictive. Best headgear he's owned, and he's been through a few.

Best headgear I have found, only one type of Adidas was comparable in fitup and staying on. I have not been happy with most other headgear, it usually comes loose more easily than this style with the thick head strap. This is my 3rd or 4th pair. One pair lost and once left behind due to an ambulance ride...

This headgear is perfect. It fits my little wrestler nicely and provides protection and comfort. He didn't care for the club-issued Asics headgear, so he wouldn't wear it unless he was required. Then I bought this headgear and he wants to wear it all the time - practice, meets, tournaments.

I grapple and I wanted something that would stay on my head and save my ears from getting uglier. This headgear works! Period, it fits nicely after adjustment and I always forget that I was using it because of the high level of comfort which it provides. A+ product
