Great buy **Q: Will this torch fit over a hard hat?** A: Yes, working on the railway I use it over my hard hat. **Q: I would want this for running. Never used one before, would the batteries remain bright for a race lasting around an hour?** A: You could put your own longer life batteries in? Its fabulous - I use it for walking the dog in the pitch black on our caravan site, its perfect in that being able to tilt it means it doesn't shine through other peoples windows, and it lights up the dog and the space around us brilliantly.
