Helps retrain your fingers after a stroke. Useful. Well-made. Pleasant, even decorative. Has extra pegs for when you drop them and they roll under your desk (and you will and they do). Highly recommended. Used by professionals.

I initially thought there were only 7 pegs but later realized there are two slots with pegs for a total of 14. This product is an affordable option for my OT tool kit.

This device is designed for stroke users to help in the rehabilitation personally I think that the device works perfectly I'm pretty sure that you don't even need the device if you just go about your normal business after a stroke all your feeling and extremities come back hand coordination etc these are my feelings personally didn't use any of these devices that I bought just kept working and doing my hobbies and 12 months later I'm 90% back to normal keep the faith out there you'll be fine in no time

The pegboard design and construction are very nice. However, the pegboard that I received included only 7 pegs instead of 9. Is it possible to have the manufacturer send me another 2 pegs?

Despite some negative review, I ordered it as I really need a product like this to practice at home to improve fine motor after a ischemic stroke that weakened my left side. I was pleased to see the product is well made and I can use it frequently. The sliding door opens smoothly, which gives access to 7 pegs on the right compartment and another 7 pegs on the left compartment. After some practice, I was able to put the pegs in all 9 holes and remove them. After practicing with my good hand first, I realize the key is to pinch the peg with your fingers in a direction that is at a 90 degree angle to the peg. This then makes it easy to turn your wrist to straighten the peg for the hole. It was a bit challenging but with focus and practice, it is doable! I plan to practice at least 2 times a day, and in my experience frequent and deep practice will lead to sure improvements in ways you may not believe possible.

The slide door is loose so I had to tape it. All the other 9-hole peg tests I’ve used in the past were tight enough it wouldn’t slide or spill, so just a design flaw.

This is just what I needed for work as an occupational therapist. We have one that stays in the clinic, but I work in a retirement community and would inevitably be across campus when I needed to do a fine motor assessment. I was thrilled to find this at a reasonable price. It is the same size and setup as the one in my clinic. The pegs store in the end and I haven't had any issues with them opening or spilling in my backpack. Highly recommend. Great assessment tool for OT's!

The wooden sliding door that the wooden pegs will not stay in place causing the 14 pegs fly out and in all directions.

Comprei o 9 hole pegboard, não veio 3 pinos e ainda ao abrir a madeira está muito apertado, travado, muito difícil para abrir e fechar, e ainda faltando as peças. 🥲
