Works really well, it's never failed me so far. Works even in windy conditions. Burns for a long time. I use less than half a packet per fire. Very lightweight, would be great for backpacking.

This is one of the best fire starting solutions I have purchased. While the tried and true method of tinder kindling and wood is the best and proper way to a successful fire. When your in a pinch for time and need to get a fire going fast this product is a Go To solution. Stored in its own waterproof bag and its ability to even light even when placed on wet ground this product is a great add to your emergency kit, backpack or bug out bag.

Used this the first time without an issue. Burns easily and starts fire on adjacent wood. Package suggested stirring product once lit, which did propagate the fire effectively. Does not burn as hot as starting with paper and kindling, but works into a warm fire more gradually.

This is the absolute best fire starter on the market. I’ve taken it on 4 camping trips through 8 national parks and no matter the weather, it always starts right up. No greasy residue that takes 20 minutes to start with a lighter held to it. Simple instructions, nice packaging, and it’s environmentally friendly. Couldn’t sing a higher praise for this and I know that wherever I go with it, I can start up a fire wherever and whenever I need it. This is now a must pack item in my day bag and my overnight gear. Sure these are great for wilderness survival. But they’re also great at making everyone think you know how to build an exceptional campfire. A+ campfire hack.

works great! You probably have to use half a bag if your typical campground wood isn't dry, but you just light it and pack wood on top....and it burns and burns until your wood is afire!! Saves a ton of time getting tiny sticks or paper all arranged just right...

Works very well got it on sale so I'm very happy . I use it for shore lunch when I'm fishing even got it to start in the rain!

It will light a fire but I have my doubt's this would be a life saver in wet conditions. Could be wrong but it doesn't seem to me that it burns anywhere near as hot as they claim. If I find that it works really well in the rain I will update my review.

Works as advertised, lights quick and continues to burn regardless of the weather. No more hassling with a gas can - very useful if your not a fast runner.
