I use these in my raised garden beds for climbing plants and plants that need support. Specifically, my Mouse Mellons. (Mexican Sour Gerkins), are enjoying the climb. Also beans, morning glory, and tomatoes! When using them to support tomatoes you will need some twine to attach thr vine to the bamboo. You could also do thr "Florida weave" style trellis with the tomatoes. I also used some to build a bean pole tipi. I love that they dont breakdown as fast as wood in the soil. After the season, I pull them out, and see that these can be used over and over again. This is a sustainable choice, I highly recommend.

These sticks should work well to keep birds and squirrels away from my seedlings. Good solid sticks (50 at 16 inches), that can be cut in half (2x at 8 inches each) to protect seedlings. You get a nice pile of sticks for the money and they were shipped quickly.

This product was the right thing for my needs. I was disappointed that the straps advertised were not included. Also, some of the bamboo is really small.
