what are the dimensions of the box

The exact dimensions of the small match box are 2 and 1/4 inch (2.25 inch) long by 1 and 7/16 inch (1.4375 inch) wide by 3/8 inch (.375 inch) thick. An earlier reported answer got the length right but was too short for the width and thickness. I obtained these noted dimensions by measuring one actual box, but I don't know what the variation in size, if any, would be between multiple boxes. I'm guessing any difference in size would be too small to be significant, so I haven't bothered to provide a calculation for computing average size.

What shade of white are these boxes, they look beige which would be fine, but I need to know in order to know how to accessorize.
