These are great. Took a minute to figure it all out. I've used all 5 of them. They are really handy.

Works great! Keeps air out!

They really work to keep produce fresh BUT it takes forever to get the smell out. I used one for half an onion, and I had to soak it for 3 days in vinegar and baking soda because it reeked of onion. Other than that, I love have my produce last longer andn I love not using plastic baggies.

These are great produce huggers! This package comes with a variety of different sizes which fits produce from Safeway, Whole Foods, and Costco. I previously purchased a different brand of silicone covers; however, my husband disliked them, and found they would squish avocado or other fruit or vegetable. The previous silicone covers would not fit a large hot house tomato or Costco-size grapefruit. I returned them and purchased these huggers instead. We have used them for some time now and they are definitely a keeper. I included a picture of a large Costco avocado and a large Costco grapefruit. We have yet to come across a fruit that will not fit the seal. They are easy to clean with a brush or rubbing a dishcloth along the inside of the rim; I do not recommend using a sponge to clean, well maybe a very soft Scrub Daddy or Scrub Mommy; Dishwasher OK. Design is great and durability appears as though it will outlast any previously purchased and returned silicone version, making it a much better value for the money.

Not all fruits and veggies are the perfect size for any of these, but when you happen to have the right size produce within the range for one of these, it works. The instructions say you are to push the food item down onto this, but try that with a tomato, ha, I had to gently coax one of these over the tomato half. An onion managed to fit one of these and it seemed to keep it fresh for several days. Mixed feelings about this product.

I am almost 100% plastic free - just used up the last of my plastic zip bags and am about to finish up my plastic cling wrap, both of which I was using for cut open fruits and veggies in my non-environmentally friendly days. these huggers are hassle free. just pop one on and done. they seal the food instantly, keeping the food from oxidizing (which can happen if you use glass containers that are not just the right size)*, take up no extra space, are easy to wash and can be used over and over again and again. love them! * that said, if I have an item that is too big for any of the huggers that I have, I use glass jars or store bought containers that are as close to the size of the item being stored as possible, again to keep the food from oxidizing/going bad.

Die Food hugger in unterschiedlichen Größen begleiten mich inzwischen seit einigen Monaten und ich möchte sie nicht mehr missen. Im Küchenalltag fallen beinahe täglich angeschnittene Obst- oder Gemüsestücke an. Ob halbe Äpfel, Bananen oder Zitronen, Zwiebeln oder Avocados - für jedes Reststück findet sich der passende Food hugger. Schnittflächen trocknen nicht mehr ein und Sauerstoff kann weniger Schäden durch Oxidation anrichten. So ist das Reststück bis zu seiner Verwendung gut aufgehoben. Die Behältnisse sind aus Silikon und lassen sich einfach reinigen. Sie können auch mit in den Geschirrspüler und sind somit hygienisch einwandfrei. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Super pratique, acheté pour couvrir les boîtes de conserve de ma minette. Fini le film plastique. Étanche, sympa et pratique tous les jours ou en voyage. Dommage qu'on ne puisse pas acheter à l'unité ; j'aurais pris en double certaines tailles. Bref un bon investissement !

Love these and the quality is good. When I first them them they were about half this price - inflation is ridiculous but still useful and have given as 'practical' gifts to people who also find them great. Perfect fit on yoghurts that no longer come with the plastic lid
