Good for the bathroom
I’ve had these installed in my bathroom for 6 months, and I’ve been happy with them. I switched out old, unattractive 6-inch can lights for these and they fit perfectly and instantly modernized the look of my bathroom. The light is bright and skews toward a warmer white, though not so much that it’s yellow (they are definitely not in the blue/white spectrum). One is installed over a bathtub/shower combo, which is why I needed damp-rated lights, and there have been no issues from the steam. I’m planning to buy more soon for another bathroom and the kitchen!

This retrofit is a perfect replacement for the more pricy original installation in the cans. This model is very bright so you may prefer the cool light version.

It Doesn't Quite Cover 6" Hole
It's warmer than the daylight LED bulb the electrician had installed, but it doesn't cover the unsightly opening and is completely made of plastic. It feels cheap and if I had to do it again, I'd have gotten a more durable fixture that generously covered up the opening in the ceiling. It doesn't looked finished.

Good brightness and color for 3000k
Fit well. Good color. Not too yellow and not the typical blue led light. Also less bright which is good for the hallway. I had some 4000k ones previously that were WAY too bright. It was blinding. These are lovely. Still bright but not blinding.

Buzz and Hum
I really wanted to like these, I love Cree bulbs in different areas of my home but these were a flop. In total I've bought 20 of these from Amazon and only 3 of them didn't buzz or hum when installed. Now before you assume it's my defect. We are general and electrical contractors and these were for our personal home - we bought quality dimmers that we confirmed were compatible with this model. We tried all the dimmer's settings and the lights' however they consistently hummed and buzzed, some loud and some soft.
