For years I wore superlight racing shoes, until my knee problems worsened, and I switched to more stable shoes.________________ FEATURES ________________— WEIGHT: Salomon Sonic 4 Confidence size 12 weigh 12.4 oz/350 gm — they're pretty light shoes.— UPPERS: Salomon Sonic 4 Confidence shoes have a slightly padded tongue attached at the sides to a mesh that keeps the tongue from sliding all over. Plastic stiffening patches called “SensiFit Wings,” together with additional stiffening patches above the heel, toe, and under the laces stiffen the sides of the shoe considerably.— LACES: Salomon Sonic 4 Confidence laces are round, thick, and slip easily through three tubes, so lacing them up and taking them off is a breeze.— INSOLES: The insoles supplied with the Sonic 4 Confidence were thin, floppy open foam that provided no heel stability or arch support. I suggest you use custom insoles (I use Superfeet).— FOOTBED: Under the insole, the footbed has ¼ inch stiff foam that can conform to your feet.— MIDSOLES: The midsole has blue “Optivibe” foam and thick white foam rubber that lifts your feet above the ground. Unfortunately, the extra height made the shoe less stable.— OUTER BOTTOM SOLE: Sonic 4 Confidence have a huge clown-shoe footprint covered with blocks of black grippy rubber. It’s supposed to improve stability, but mine caught on things and tripped me up.— FIT: The Sonic 4 Confidence didn’t fit too well, unless I torqued down on the laces like crazy.— STABILITY: The stiff Solomon Sonic 4 Confidence shoes left my feet sliding around inside the shoes.— COMFORT: Despite the padding and the extra foam, the Sonic 4 Confidence shoes did not feel pillowy or cushiony. And they were hot.— SUMMARY: For me, the Solomon Sonic 4 Confidence shoes were too high, the sole was too broad, and the sides were too stiff. The shoes might have molded to my feet with a long break-in.CONSIDERATIONSI've given you lots of specific details help you decide if the Solomon Sonic 4 Confidence running shoes are right for your individual feet, running style, body condition, and personal preferences. Solomon is one of the brands I return to. It has consistently fit me, not needed to be broken in, giving me the shock absorption I need for brisk paced city walking and some lighter terrain as well.

I've never paid $100.00 for a pair of shoes but these are indeed worth it. I love them!

i used to use a different brand so when. they discontinued the model i was comfortable in I switched to the sonic 2 - that was disconued. i switched to another model and i was not disappointed

I 've bought a lot of Salomon ski wear a long time ago . They were an incredible brand both for looks and quality. I didn't know that they made sneakers until last year. I bought 4 pairs of these. They look great and feel awesome on your feet. Unfortunately they don't last. I alternated 2 pairs to wear on a daily bases- I had to throw them away after 3 month. The pair I used for workouts lasted a bit longer. The weak parts are the fabric on the outside of the foot (It starts ripping quickly), and the soles. The rubber is too soft.Too bad, really wanted to like them, but it seems this is just another brand that sold out quality for profit

La talla es correcta conforme al tamaño del tenis. Buena construcción, ligeros y muy bonitos. Los compré en oferta ($1800) lo que hace que el la relación precio/beneficio sea excelente. Llegaron un poco antes de lo estimado a pesar de ser enviados por Amazón Estados Unidos.

Ho acquistato queste scarpe per sostituirne un paio di un'altra marca ormai distrutte e mi sono fidato del nome altisonante e dell'ottimo prezzo in offerta.Le scarpe calzano alla perfezione, ho scelto il numero di taglia che utilizzo normalmente e le ho trovate comodissime e perfette per l'utilizzo intensivo che ne faccio quasi quotidianamente.Ho percorso in una settimana tantissimi chilometri senza problemi di vesciche o altro, le scarpe sono traspiranti e molto performanti e in definitiva non ho trovato alcuna pecca o difetto e sono rimasto soddisfattissimo per l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Bis jetzt, nach einigen Wochen des Probierens beim Laufen, muss ich einLOB Aussprechen.Relativ leicht ist der Schuh. Hat für die Straße, den Kies-Schotterweg und dem leichten Waldweg einen guten Grip, somit gemischt einsetzbar. Fühle mich natürlich beweglich im Schuh, aber auch eine leichte Stabilität ist vorhanden. Mein Gefühl für die Dämpfungseinschätzung liegt zwischen gering/mittel bis mittel.Ich habe eine relative hohe Kilogrammzahl zu bewegen und kann diesen Schuh besonders auch fürschwere Läufer empfehlen, meiner Meinung nach!Bei der Größe, muss man meiner Meinung nach mindestens eine Nummer größer wählen. Ich habenormal die Größe 44 im Schnitt und hier soagr die 45 1/3 gekauft. Ich glaub er muss wirlich gut sitzen,auch nicht zu locker, dass der Schuh seine Qualität ausspielen kann. Ich hatte erst die Größe 46 bestellt,also 2 Nummern größer, aber das war zu viel. Dementsprechend eine Rück- und Neubestellung.Der Preis ist mit regulär 140 € schon teurer.Ich bin froh, doch kein Brooks, Asics, Nike o. anderen Laufschuh gewählt zu haben, sondern das Risikiomit einem Salomon Laufschuh eingegangen zu sein.
