great product
I love this stuff!!! Especially the fact that it is a 'natural' preservative. Being a celiac and having multiple food sensitivities reading labels is a chore. I use this as a preservative in my shampoo bars I make. The effectivness is great. I have never had mold grow on the bars. It works and protects for a long time. I received the jug and not the glass bottle. It is small but it last a long time. It doesnt take much to do the job. It is very thick and needs warmed to thin it up to use. I will definitely be purchase this again and again and again.

Good, but way over priced
The product was good. I purchased it because I was in a bit of a crunch to get an order out, but it is way over priced for a 4 oz size considering other competitors provide 8x the quantity for the same price. I'd be a regular customer if it was priced accordingly. If time is of the essence, and you have to bite the bullet on cost, this would be the next best option with Amazon's free next day delivery.

HORRIBLE! Do not buy!
What the heck? almost empty?? I made a fresh cream, and at the final stage I opened the jar of preservative and saw this… I didn’t have any other preservative, and I was counting on it… what is this inside? Jelly? Snot? Nothing? I had to throw my cream away because I didn’t have a replacement for this preservative… disappointment and anger! I just threw away so many organic (expensive) ingredients… If I could give a -10, I would.

Great natural preservative
I have been using this as my preservative for 3 years now for my main 2 lotion recipes. I've had no bad batches. I have a friend who also has a small business in body care and she was remorseful of using it, as her lotion molded 2 weeks after making it. However I bleach all of my equipment in a 1/10 including my lotion bottles, and wipe my pump and straw down with rubbing alcohol before filling my bottle and I have never once had that experience. I also wait until my lotion is about 100°f before adding my preservative.
