I bought the slat chalkboard by itself for $12, so this is an excellent value! And, for those doubting whether they really need the HWT slate chalkboard or if they should just use a cheap synthetic one - go for the slate because it really makes for an entirely different sensory experience to fwel the way the chalk writes on this board. The smaller the piece, the easier it is for kids to use correct grip on writing utensil. ✍I love that I did not have to purchase full curriculum.
