Wisdom of the House of Night Oracle Cards: A 50-Card Deck and Guidebook

This deck is top notch quality. From the Artistry, imagery and it’s gilded cards. Easily shuffles and has the most resonating messages. Unbelievably Beautiful! You feel so connected to the imagery. The insights to the cards in the guidebook are so wonderfully written that you understand the deeper meaning easily and retain it immediately. It’s easy to expand your thoughts. Absolutely one of my favorite decks!!! Love!

Great price and cards are BEAUTIFUL

Colette Baron-Reid is absolutely one of my favorite oracle card authors! P.C. Cast and her make a great team! I was not sure about buying these cards, originally, because I was afraid the messages would be too dark, but the artwork was too gorgeous to pass up. And when I finally got these, the messages were loving and wise. It helped me to embrace the light and dark sides of my personality equally, and realize that both sides are just as loving and valid. I have not read, nor seen, any of the House of Night stories, but these cards still speak to me, greatly. They are so insightful and moving, and most of my readings have been extremely accurate. I am still waiting for some predictions to come true, but many of them have come true, already. I did not know who Nyx was, before I used these cards, but am grateful to be introduced to her. The wisdom that the authors voice as Nyx is extremely valuable! This has helped me to heal so many aspects of my life! Plus, the artwork on these cards are truly amazing! I wish that P.C. Cast created more oracle cards, and that the illustrator created more as well.

Besides being beautiful the pictures are wonderful and the card stick is great. I reviewed the reviews on YouTube and they were such great reviews and they are affordable I had to have them. The book inside is quality and very good reading descriptions of meanings. I was looking for a new oriole deck to incopetsye in with some quick pic tarot cards. These are perfect

Beautiful deck with impressive weight to each card. This is a solid deck, the edges are guilted and the cards are printed on a very heavy paper. They are glossy and beautiful. Each message is beautifully written and meaningful. The box itself he cards some in is substantial so they do not get crushed inside a purse or when stored in a drawer or cabinet with other items. I’m very happy I picked this deck.

This is my 4th deck of oracle cards. My first deck was by colette baron reid (the map oracle cards) and I absolutely love and recommend them. I didn't order this deck because it was by the same author. I was just looking around at decks, and it just happened to be by the same author. I looked up the cards ahead of time to see if i could "work" with them. They do look beautiful. I like the silver edges and the black, but I guess between the time I placed the order, and the time I got the cards and looked through them, I didn't feel as drawn to them as I did a week ago. I do feel a little bad for putting 3 stars. The cards look beautiful. I did a few quick readings, but the cards I got just felt very abstract/random and very hit or miss for me. The card description in the book seems a little too short (I guess this would be good for those who like room to interpret their own meanings.) I just can't connect to what the card is trying to tell me. :/ Some things work better for others I guess. And considering that most of the reviewers seemed to connect well with this deck, It's unfortunate that I couldn't also :/. --- Revised 8/8/13 I feel a little more intuitive since the last time I used the cards.. so I decided to try another reading. I took the cards out and the bottom card was "denial", it stuck in my mind and when I shuffled and pulled a card from the middle.. it was denial. This happened exactly like the other reading i did with my other deck too! The denial card's description fit perfectly with what I've been telling myself and thinking for a while. Yet it wasn't exactly "denial" as how most see it, but what struck me was the don't "get caught in your desire to reach your goal too soon. You may choose sour fruit that only looks ripe and juicy." You have to remember that we already KNOW what we need, want, etc consiously or subsconsciously. Yet sometimes it's difficult to bring it forward and oracle cards, tarot, etc are tools that help you find the answer more clearly. It was.. in my eyes.. a perfect card for me right now. Since I did a past present and future, all I can agree to were the past and present. But I see where the future is headed and at this point I agree. I also did a where am I now and it was related (denial.) So I raised this to 4 stars. I don't see myself using this deck often though. It has silver edges, but it has tiny silver dust that falls on your hand like glitter. So that makes me hesitant to use this deck. I don't like glittery things.. it freaks me out. It is smaller than glitter but I don't like the "mess" haha.

I like this deck a lot it has very sharp images and vibrant colors. The cards are easy to put into rotation but this is something I have to let you know especially if you are the artist of these amazing cards....the edges are so sharp that I'm afraid of a sharp cut when I use them so I'm considering filing down the edges myself with a nail file to round the sharp edges lol! I do love them though a lot! Maybe my hands are just too sensitive as well so lol! Thank you so much for making this great deck!

This deck is absolutely beautiful. The concept of the deck is brilliant, and these cards are beautiful. I love the guilded edges. The corners are a little sharp but it's fine. I love working with this deck and the messages resonate well with my clients.
