Fanciful Faces Coloring Book

This book is a lot of fun and great for relaxing. The pictures in this book are detailed and beautiful, and I enjoy the different patterns and scenes set up with the faces. Some of the pictures are not as detailed as others, but that's ok because it helps to give the book diversity. I've colored one page in it so far, and I've started a second. What I like most about this book is that the pictures are one sided and perforated, so if you would like to tear one out and hang it up, you don't have to decide which picture to show. The paper quality is nice and crisp. I've been using colored pencil, and when I press down on the paper to make darker shades the paper does not sink in, which I like. It is worth the price. This probably would not be a good book for little kids, but young teenagers or preteens would be ok, and it would help any young artist to practice coloring techniques like combinations, toning and shading and how to work with details. I would definitely recommend this book for any one who loves to color likes fanciful pictures.

This is my third coloring book I have ordered for myself, I love all 3 of them! I thought one of the others was my favorite but after receiving this one I don't think I like one more than the other. The faces are so beautifully drawn I have a difficult time deciding which page to color. I love that the pages are perforated because I prefer to color the pages on a clipboard that way if anything bleeds through it doesn't get on other pages and its easier to color. The paper is a bright white, colored pencils go on smoothly. I use BIC permanent markers and sharpies, they both bleed through. I highly recommend this coloring book to anyone who loves nature, beautiful faces or coloring.

I really like this coloring book. I recently started in on the adult coloring craze and an thoroughly hooked! I believe this is my fourth Coloring book and at the moment, my favorite! I love the designs. I had been coloring a lot of animals and Was getting a tiny bit bored. I love coloring the faces of the women. I like the paper it's printed on and it's perforated in case you want to rip it out. I usually do after coloring because my daughter's hangs them up. Until then I slip a piece of paper or cardboard between pages just in case it the markers or pens bleed through. Better safe than sorry! This product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail price. I am reviewing it because I want to share my experience with other potential customers.

I really like coloring these pages. They have the right mix of complexity and simplicity to keep me engaged. The paper is heavy enough for colored pencils. I can't say for markers or pens since I don't use them. I would suspect there would be bleed through for some markers and would place a piece of paper under the page just to be sure. The images are printed one to a page meaning the back of the image is blank. I won't buy them if there are images on both sides of the page. The one thing that brought this down to four stars is the lack of perforations on the paper making it harder to remove the pages to color. I find it harder to color on a soft surface, such as inside a book and prefer to remove the pages and work on my studio table or on a clipboard. Love the images though. Definitely recommend to those who like coloring this type of image.

Since I love all things connected with makeup, fashion, design, etc. I found this book to be not just pretty to work on, but ultra-satisfying. I have a lot of stress at my job, which is creative but offtimes filled with pressure. I have found that when I allow myself to think about almost nothing, but go on "automatic," ideas tend to flow and my stress level is highly reduced. For a relatively low price, you will find this book to be one of your favorites.

Very, very detailed coloring book. I was surprised to find how much I enjoyed coloring the pictures, but definitely not for those who do like coloring small designs and details. The designs are very imaginative and creative. Most of the pages contained one face, some had more than one face, and one page had only an eye. The faces are very similar. What I liked best about the faces were the large, beautifully illustrated eyes.

I love this coloring book. The illustrations are lovely and I really like all the designs surrounding each face. The variations in the designs make this anything but boring. The beauty in the flowers, feathers etc. doesn't take away from the faces, but actually enhances them. I usually prefer coloring animals and flora but the cover of this book was intriguing enough for me to want to take a chance on a coloring book about faces. I don't regret buying this and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to color.

I like this book very much. Has some beautiful pictures to color. I can't wait to use it. The only dislike I have is that the paper it is printed on is rather thin. I wish it was a little thicker paper. I hope it takes colored pencils well because of this paper issue ie: blending colors etc. Otherwise it's a very nice color book.

Very good for a newbie colorist. I dont have to think of what to color and whats not. Simply relaxing

Ganz tolles Malbuch. Ich habe es an unsere Tochter verschenkt. Sie hat sich sehr darüber gefreut. Sie bearbeitet die Ausmalbilder konzentriert und mit Spaß. Eürde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.

The Creative Haven coloring books are by far the best adult coloring books I have come across. The illustrations are beautiful and each one takes hours to finish and really does help relieve stress. I love that I can detach them from the book to color, as I hate coloring in books. And then I can hang them up when I'm done. I found this one to be a bit more difficult than others, as there is so much going on in the illustrations and sometimes I have to squint to figure where one thing ends and another starts. But in the end, it turns out beautiful. Highly recommend this and other Creative Haven coloring books.
