Smell and flavor are where it's at. I was buying regular fish oil with a slight strawberry taste. My son didnt like taking that kind. He asks for this one though.

Tastes Like Lemonade – No Complaints from My Kids!. I’ve tried so many omega-3 supplements for my kids, and this is the first one they actually love. It tastes just like lemonade—no fishy smell, no weird aftertaste. Total win. Bonus- it’s sugar-free and dairy-free, which is important for our family. It has a great amount of EPA and DHA, and I’ve noticed a difference in my kids’ focus and mood since we started using it. It’s easy to give – they take it straight from the spoon and no need to disguise it in juice as it tastes that good. If you’ve got picky kiddos this is a must-try. Have purchases several times now.

This was the first omega that I could get my 6 year old to take. We tried several brands in the gummy version, but he couldn't stand the taste. He loves the taste of the lemonade flavor. He is super picky and has sensitive taste buds, so this was a huge win for us. He does prefer to take it at lunch or dinner though. The flavor is a little strong for him first thing in the morning, but he has no issues once his taste buds wake up. I use a medicine syringe and he willingly takes it without mixing it with anything.

Great Product, but one star deducted for the slight bait and switch tactic they use to label their product line. Barleans makes a "kids" and "regular" lemon oil that are THE EXACT SAME, just the kids is packaged in a smaller bottle with a cute label and instructions to give less (5 ml vs 10 ml). You're paying $2 per 16 on Amazon just to be told the children's dose, which could EASILY be written on the adult lemon bottle. As you will see in my picture, I bothered to do the math, and they are the SAME EPA, DHA and Omega 3s per ML of Oil (as well as the same ingredient list). The best bargain is their Lime High Potency oil, which is 13% more expensive, but gives you 37%-40% EPA, DHA and Omega 3s per ML. This product is STILL using flim-flam marketing tricks though, because they cheat to make it look like 200% more instead of the true 40% more by increasing the dose size from 10 ml on the adult lemon to 15 ml on the adult lime! The lime is still worth the increase in price, BUT it is so shady that they change the dosing so they can claim on the front 720 mg vs 1500 mg! NOTE: All the reviewers claiming they can taste a fish after taste from the lime are having a psychosomatic response, you CANNOT taste it. I have done a blind taste test with my picky 6 and 3 year old daughters (and myself, though not blind) and we all agreed that all 3 taste like deliciously sweet and creamy lemon and lime (seriously, it is like melted lemon or lime sherbert!). The lime tastes the slightest bit more "artificial" when the flavor first hits your tongue, but there is no after taste. All they did in the lime to make it "high potency" is cut back on water (you can tell because the calories rise a proportionate 33% for the lime vs the lemon). If you are giving your children the "kids" lemon, stop wasting the $2 and just refill your old bottle with the grown up lemon, or better yet with a 50 / 50 mix of the lemon and lime till they don't notice and eventually switch them to the lime 100%. They are even the same color! My kids still excitedly remind me to give them their lemon oil whenever I forget, because they LOVE it, and they've been switched to the high potency lime for over a month now! LOL

I now have it set up to auto send it to me because we absolutely love it! He is a boy of very few words but now since using this product his vocabulary is definitely starting to grow. And he is also listening concentrating and behaving a lot better. We have definitely put this into our daily routine and it is a product that we now do not know how we could live without it! Definitely worth a try and definitely something to consider if you are looking for options for your child. shown improvement since using this product. The first bottle that we purchased was great. It tasked like a lemonade smoothie and there wasn't a hint of fishy taste. My 8 year old, who practically vomits at the smell of fish, was slurping this down every morning. We used the entire bottle after throwing out many bottles of other rejected fish oil products. But then I bought a new bottle. The bottle was not expired nor were there signs of damage during shipment. When I removed the safety seal on the top of the bottle I licked it off and it tasted a lot more fishy than I was expecting. But I gave it to my son anyway thinking he might have just gotten over the fishy taste. He promptly spat it out. The taste was completely different. So I returned that bottle using the regular Amazon returns process and got a new bottle. The replacement I received was the wonderful, totally-not-fishy-tasting-at-all lemonade flavor we were expecting. So if you get a bottle and it is fishy-tasting, something is not right. Also: the bottle says you don't have to refrigerate until after opening it, but from now on I'm planning to refrigerate as soon as I receive the bottle to see if that reduces taste problems.

bottle is leaking.

I ordered 2 bottles and received today 30th August, 2022 but both expiry dates were June 8th, 2022 and I can’t return shame!!
