I bought these giant vacuum seal bags to store my outdoor furniture’s cushions in the off season. I normally squeeze these cushions on a shelf in the garage but my garage space is limited and my outdoor furniture was doubled. These bags fit a total of 8 standard chair cushions and an entire outdoor couch/chaise cushion set. When vacuum sealed these bags with cushions in them took less than 1/2 the storage space where I typically store 8 of the chair cushions. The bags are heavy duty and when used correctly keep bugs and debris off my cushions! So far I’ve had no problems with the seal being compromised in the last 6 months.

Size is good and so is quality

I was looking for vacuum storage for several large dog beds, and some large comforters/Queen feather bed. These were the largest I found at the time and didn't rely on a vent cap to hold the vacuum. They are easy to use. Like most of these types of product you need to take care to make sure the opening is zipped shut securely. There is a zip slide loose inside the individual package of each bag. Easy to miss it. I recommend to slide back and forth at least three times pressing firmly on both sides if the slide to ensure a good seal. I like that the vent opens for suctioning or release of suction with just a twist. However it's easy to accidentally move the vent and release suction. It could use a snap on lid tp protect against this in handling and storage...I took off 1 star for that, and for a "cube" these could have had more height at the opening. It was difficult to get my large items into the bag ass the opening is flat with a gusset at the far end of the bag. I was expecting more of a cube. Overall I would recommend for large compressible items.

These are good sized bags, and relatively easy to use. It has a double seal, which helps a lot but I have gotten a couple that didn't hold the vacuum seal. There was possibly a. Hole ? They are decent quality, but could be better. These were the more affordable ones, and they mostly did the job I needed.

We got these to tame the beast that is the basement guest closet that was completely unruly with blankets and pillows and frilly things. I worked up the courage and rushed in while my wife was away and shoved like colored items in these bags and vacuumed them down to size. No longer do the blanket/sheet/sham/pillow monsters mock me as I walk past because this product aided me in my quest to push back the darkness that is my wife obsession with magazine shoot quality bed set ups for each season. Also she gets angry when I mention the Magnolia network will not be coming again this season. I hope she doesn't read my reviews, I don't like sleeping on the couch.

Super jumbo and can accommodate king size comforters. Takes a little time but worth the effort. Great purchase.

UPDATE:So it seems that these bags aren't meant to be used for more than a couple weeks/months maybe. We opened up a box to retrieve a few summer dresses for me and every bag in it had deflation. It would seem by at least half. We actually had to get help to remove them.lol Being the partial deflation had jammed them into the tote. Not sure what else could have been done. The tote was on top of the boxes stack and not moved since May. So operator's error isn't the problem. Sorry to say it but the bags have ALL failed to work as advertised. bags I have been able to use seem to be holding. But I was not able to use 1 of the smaller bags at all and the other seems to be leaking from the same tiny heat seal spot. It is in the middle of the zipper area just on the inside of the bag. I tried to be very careful with the other 1 as it didn't appear to have a hole like the first bag just the melt mark. The larger ones seem to be working just fine so far. I really don't think that these would work out for traveling if they were going to be moved around a lot. They are made of thick plastic and they have a nice zipper. But the zipper coming undone is the problem. Maybe it's just the set I got had a problem with manufacturing issues. With the melt marks on the small plastic bags. I'm thinking that might be the case.

Large bags really do shrink the stuff down to almost nothing

These bags are ok but not that great, depending on the item, they appear not to hold some apparel and linen very well. Would definitely recommend using a vacuum cleaner for these bags
