I originally bought this set for the brush, but unexpectedly, the comb has become the real star — even though it felt like a bonus extra at first. I use it every single day now. The brush itself feels beautifully made — the boar bristles are gentle but effective, smoothing my hair without tugging or causing frizz. I have quite long straight hair which is prone to tugs and split ends. I wanted to get a brush that would help keep my hair healthier and smoother, and while it was a little pricier than I’d normally want to spend on a brush, I figured brushes last years! It was definitely worth it, my hair look feels and looks amazing when I use it. It’s clearly kinder to my hair than the previous nylon bristle brushes I’d used, as there is a a much more consistent, smoother texture and feel to my hair, less split ends, and it’s neither too dry or too oily. I do tend to have to use the wooden comb first, but it also does a great job of tackling knots. I’d highly recommend this product - my hair is so much healthier and looks and feels loads better now! I’ve never really been someone who spends ages on her hair, but I actually love brushing my hair now because of how lovely it looks and feels after!!

This Brush set is amazing, after having surgery on my scalp, and hair growing back I needed an gentle experience . Now brushing my hair isn’t so must an painful experience Great materials expensively price but worthy of the price also beautifully packed if you have thin hair I recommend this brush and it leaves an beautiful shine on your hair ..Thank -you

Lovely brush, gentle on hair. Came with nice packaging. Not for vegans! I did notice a smell when I first cleaned it but it seems to have gone now.

Overview: I have enjoyed testing this brush and all the little extras that come with it. I think it definitely distributes your natural oils well across your hair rather than them all being at your roots (naturally), and adds shine to the hair whilst smoothing. What you receive: a boar bristle brush, a wooden comb, a towelling hair band and a canvas bag to keep them in, along with the gift box and instructions it arrives in. Instructions: You are meant to use the comb first to detangle any knots and then go in with the bristle brush from root to tips. Quality: The products are all made using good quality products and you can really feel that when using them. The brush has a heaviness to it that feels firm/strong and not flimsy. I like how the brush and comb are made from a wooden material rather than plastic as every little helps in reducing plastic waste! They also make the products feel more luxurious and long lasting. Using the products: I have enjoyed testing the brush and comb. The comb isn’t for me personally, I don’t usually use combs as my hair gets quite tangled especially at the nape of my neck so I need a strong brush to tease them out. However, I’ve really gotten on well with the brush. I’ve recently had a baby so through postpartum I got a lot of hair loss and breakage; I was wanting to find a brush that was gentle on my hair but improved the look, feel and health of it... which is what this brush does for me. It doesn’t pull or yank on my hair and never hurts, even if there’s a knot! Cons: for me, it’s about the brush being made using boar bristles however it’s explained that it’s harvested boar bristle and is cruelty free. The boar bristles also ensure a minimum hair loss whilst brushing which is exactly what it does, and what my hair needs... so isn’t a con! Overall, I would recommend this brush especially if you experience hair loss whether it’s from postpartum/hormones/natural shedding cycle etc.

I had heard that natural bristled hair brushes are better for the health of your hair so I bought this brush. (The brush I already had was made of plastic, was very old, falling apart and was impossible to clean) I have very fine hair but I have a lot of it so I thought this brush would be perfect and it came with a little wooden comb too that I thought was really cute. When the brush arrived, I was excited and it came in a lovely presentation box. The second I tried to brush my hair with the brush, the bristles refused to even part my hair at all like they were scared of it. And it didn’t matter how hard I pushed or tried to get it to work as intended because those bristles were having none of it. There is not even a minuscule amount of rigidity to them. I should’ve just stuck to my painful, plastic nightmare… but the comb works and it smells nice. UPDATE: After leaving my review of this item, I was contacted by a customer service representative of Belula Care and they offered me a free replacement of the brush that I bought, which is absolutely fantastic (The harder bristled brush in case you were wondering). Therefore I’ve changed my rating to reflect not only the quality of the customer service I received, but the quality of the replacement brush that I now use on a daily basis. It glides through my hair like a dream and even if I encounter a tangle that would’ve normally had my other brush ripping out half my hair to detangle it, this brush is much more gentle on my poor scalp and swiftly unknots the problem area. This was a gift for my 3 year old granddaughter who hates having her long semi-curly hair brushed to the point of crying at the suggestion of it. She was a total convert from the first stroke and absolutely loves how there is no pulling at all! My daughter loves it too for her own long straight locks 😁

I bought this for my wife but unfortunately she says it won't go through her hair, and she does have fine hair. I tried it and the bristles are very soft. I imagine this will be very good for straight hair
