Good value
The disks worked well. No problem copying my files. Picture files reproduced as good as the originals. Burn rate was slow but no issues copying and reproducing my files.

This stuff is the real thing. Completely compatible with m-disc compatible burners. Makes good disks that last a lifetime.

NOT Cheap
These disks have a << theoretical >> lifespan of one thousand years. If you have legal documents, important files (whatever) that need long-term, archival storage - M Disc is the way to go. Last order was $5.20 per disk. Packs of 25 are still being sold on Amazon. CAVEAT / ADVISO : An M-Disc rated drive must be used to burn files onto these disks.

way over-priced
I like the idea of M-Disc and hence my stars, but mostly I'm writing this review to complain and point out the ridiculousness of the fact that SSDs, even the most expensive versions (M.2 NVMe as opposed to SATA) are now MUCH cheaper per amount of storage than these plastic discs. I mean complex electronics compared to plastic disc! I bought 4 of these a few years ago and I will not buy more unless the price comes down. Way down. Which means I may never buy more because the price has gone up instead of down, and there are only a few companies making these.
