My favorite "box" pancakes ever

I did quite a bit of research before settling on Stonewall Kitchen Farmhouse Pancake and Waffle Mix, primarily because I had not made waffles in a while and invested in a new and exceptionally good waffle iron. I was a bit leery as I cooked the first waffle (I had stopped making waffles after a bad experience years ago where the waffles continuously stuck to and burned onto the waffle iron, making a mess the was next to impossible to clean). However, when the timer beeped, and I lifted the lid and saw how evenly golden brown the waffles were, I felt relieved. Even better, when I tasted the waffles, WOW!, absolutely delicious. I just told my daughter earlier that I will need to force myself not to have waffles for breakfast every day – they are that good. I do not want to spoil myself on them and possible lose the novelty over time – so 2-3 times a week will do for now. I wholeheartedly recommend this mix.

I tried the buttermilk and the farmhouse varieties of the pancake mix, I felt the buttermilk one was more satisfying and had a more traditional flavor. The batter seems thin however the pancakes fluff up nicely when making them.

All I can say is O to the M to the G! I can show you better than I can tell you. Magically delicious...

Not worth the money. Made only 2 batches. Tastes chalky. Won’t buy again. Disappointed in this item. From Stonewall.

I could get up in the early morning, whip my egg whites, mix ingredients, make pancakes, or I could make the Stonewall kitchen pancakes, the only prepackaged mix I've found to be just as good, if not better, than home made. Super easy to use and very flavorful, the pancakes fluff up perfectly and have no chemical or weird premix taste. While I mostly make pancakes with them because I prefer the malty mix for waffles, they also make a fine crispy waffle.

I am a fan of this mix. In fact, I like it so well I think I may have reviewed it a few years ago! The mix requires just a few additions before you pour it on the griddle - egg, milk, melted butter - BLUEBERRIES! It cooks quickly and evenly and has a nice, smooth flavor - a perfect palette for your real maple syrup. We love it and buy it in bulk. None of us (four adults in the family) is fat, we don't eat pancakes more than 3 - 4 times per month. When we do, this is our go-to standard.

This is an expensive pancake mix but is definitely better that the ones I can buy in Canada. I used to buy it at the Vancouver Stong store. Unfortunately Stong no longer carries this brand.

Ein bisschen zu teuer, aber trotzdem sehr lecker. Nochmal bestelle ich sie nicht, aber wie gesagt, sie sind geschmacklich sehr gut.

Ursprünglich dachte ich das dieser teigmix nur mit Milch abgeschüttelt werden muss - aber es muss noch ei und Milch Ran, also ist dieser teigmix eigentlich nur Mehl und Backpulver. Habe mir Waffeln gemacht - die Waffeln schmecken so als wäre im Teig viel zu viel Backpulver gelandet - auch mit Puderzucker und Saucen lässt sich der Geschmack nicht vergessen. Und ja, ich habe mich exakt an die Anweisung auf der Dose gehalten. Werde ich nicht nochmal kaufen
