It's a great looking foam viking axe.. but... It's broken after the first use.
I purchased this for a bit of semi contact activity, but it ended breaking after short use. The head tore off and it's missing a bit. The length of the core is very strong, very sturdy. But head is not made of the same thickness, and therefore failed to withstand a few impacts. I have glued this back on. It's a great item - prop only though. Not as strong as my other larp safe axe which I use in combat.

Used for a viking photo event, popular with children. Well made.

Very impressed
Very surprised at how well this is made and the detailing looks great. Very sturdy shaft and the axe head itself has good flexibility. The only mod I made was to the moulded leather binding on the shaft. I used some faux leather strapping I had just to lay over and follow the moulding. But still giving it five stars. A great foam axe for fancy dress.

Look great and very true to the show prop, and is longer and than I thought it would be (not a bad thing)—it’s almost equal in length to a short-mid length one handed sword. It has a nice heft to it as well: heavier feel than foam swords that are longer than it. One of my favourites
