It's f^(ging great!! But i DID get mine for $5.95
I bought this for an ovation electric/acoustic, to use effects and hear it only through the amp, plug the acoustic and turn it into an electric...ish, have fun. It has a nice tight fit. pops out easily enough, sturdy, heavy rubber. D'Addario have never let me down. I'm not a fanboy, but this was under $6 and I also have a Martin and I'm interested to see if I can put it into "practice mode" past midnight. I literally just used it for the first time for 5 minutes, on a blues DeVille of all things (it was "right there"). I know it's to cut feedback, but for my intentions, it works well. and yeah, no feedback, but ovations use a piezo, so no magnetic field. I'm thinking of leaving it in the ovation and getting another for the martin. for less than $6, this is competing with all the other knock offs, and has a name I've come to personally trust, and yeah: lots of guitar accessories are tony plastic pieces of whatever, but there's a way to do it right, and I've never bought a new tool after buying one built by D'Addario. Then again, i've never tried another version, and I cannot stress this enough: I bought mine for less than $6. Ok, I've convinced myself to buy another for the Martin. My dudes, they had D' clip tuners for like $6 once and I bought one for each case. The batteries are probably dead now because i use a poly3. but it's under $6!!!

Works great as long as it fits
I’ve been a professional musician for 30+ yrs, and I’ve used this brand many times over the years. It works perfectly and does what it’s suppposed to do. Just make sure it fits! This will depend on your guitar. The actual dimension of this plug is 4.040”, so, roughly 4 and 1/32”. My Martin’s sound-hole is 3.990”, and this particular plug will not fit, it’s too tight. I could probably force it in, but I’m not doing that. No worries, I have other guitars that it’ll fit. But for this particular Martin, I found (on Amazon) a sound hole cover that is 10cm which equals 3.937”, and it’s a perfect fit. No forcing. So my advice is to try this 4” plug first, it’ll probably fit. But if it seems too tight, don’t force it. Search on Amazon for the 10cm plug and you’ll be happy.

Size does matter
How do they do that??? I order this 16 hours ago and he it is. Update. It is a good product for the right guitar, Just not my Tacoma. I have others it will work out somewhere 😎 This will work fine. I question the pretty wooden covers.... To much resonance.

Great buy!!!!!
Fits both of my acoustic perfectly. Great price. Love that I didn’t have to drive to Guitar Center and over pay. Thanks, Amazon!!

Works fine, but....
at least for my instrument, was just slightly too big around, made installation a PITA. we're talking small fractions of an inch, just enough to make it a "bit" too tight. Along with that, piece is VERY thick, difficult to maneuver under the strings to the sound hole. That said, works as advertised, for the money, it is alright. I'll look for something thinner.

Must have
Not sure why everyone who performs live with an acoustic guitar doesn't have one of these. Prevents feedback. Easy to insert and remove

Unreal Difference
I was skeptical but thought I'd try this five dollar fix to tame persistent feedback on my Taylor/Fishman combo. This rubber disc definitely lives up to other positive reviews here. When facing the amp two feet away, I am able to get higher volumes without any discernable feedback. I can only imagine what this will do when the amp is 5-10 feet away in a gig situation. Great product.

I bought this to try to control the howling feedback I was getting when putting my acoustic guitar through my new Blackstar amp. The feedback was making the guitar almost unuseable, so I thought I'd try this. I'm glad to say that it's quite effective. Some reviews say it doesn't mute the guitar, but it isn't meant to. It has definitely improved the guitar's useability, I can use it at a sensible volume with no problem. I used it for a gig with the guitar going directly into the desk and it was excellent, no feedback at all. It's a perfect fit in my Gibson J100, my friend uses one on a Takamine, so it seems fairly versatile. I'm more impressed than I expected to be with this cheap little gadget, it does pretty much what it says on the tin, and all for the price of a chip supper!

;-) Klare Empfehlung.
