Holding up amazingly Kind of a biscuit to put together, but with another person helping installation is easy enough I did not put a lot of weight on this rod, so the tension is as needed. I made a curtain out of the singular piece of black fabric, so it’s not very thick, but it still keeps the light out for the most part from my stairwell with two big 8 foot windows. Holding very well.

The rod is very sturdy. Used it across 91 inch opening for outdoor curtains . Only thing is the rod diameter is almost too big for the curtain grommets.
