It’s highly effective at stripping off heavy or waterproof makeup without drying the skin or damaging the barrier. You only need a pea-sized dollop, a little goes a very long way especially once you emulsify it with water. You absolutely DO need to double cleanse. I believe this balm causes breakouts when it’s not followed with a second cleanse. I swear by this balm and use it regularly in my double cleanse routine after wearing makeup. I like that this balm is budget friendly, performs like a luxury brand, and lasts easily 3-4 months. I do NOT like that I was sent an unsealed, opened, and used product that was missing the spatula. I don’t know how common it is to receive products that have already been used and returned, or have simply been tampered with before being shipped, but that is a major hygiene red flag.
