Bought for my 14 week old lab puppy. These nylabones are tiny and are not long lasting, one was demolished within 5 minutes, not one part of the bone was left!

Like most Yorkies, my two are quite selective about what they eat food wise (though they’ll run outside and eat plastic!) and look at most new foods with great suspicion. I broke one of these bones in half and put a piece before each yorkie and after backing away, sniffing suspiciously, looking at me searchingly to ensure I was not actually trying to poison them, they gave a tentative nibble and wandered away. I thought it was a bust! An hour later they wandered back over to check out the bone again and really got to chewing. They play a game where they fight over and chew at the same half until it’s done before chasing and competition for the second half. They play this game until they tire and start and stop throughout the day so that one bone does last my yorkies most of a day, and once they have it, I can be reasonably sure of at least 45mins of them occupying themselves at a time. It doesn’t shatter as they gnaw at it (something a lot of other bone reviews for small dogs were saying!) but crumbles into soggy but firm nuggets they come back to. It's got some give and is soft enough to be chewable, but it takes a lot of gnawing at for them to wear it done completely. It's large enough it won't slide down their throats to choke them. The smell is super mild and inoffensive and the ingredients look great. Pups are 2.5 and 4.5lbs @ 9months for reference. Ordering more now!
