Works great, easy to use, and very satisfying!
I purchased this handbrake for CarX Drift Racing Online, and it really changed up my gameplay, pulling a giant lever is super satisfying and helps with control quite a bit, especially since I was trying to press a button on the wheel mid-turn. The whole thing is built out of anodized aluminum and nicely lubricated with something thick. Very little setup required, a few nuts and bolts to mount the handbrake to the desk mount, and then the handle to the base. It comes with two sleeves that go over the handle, each a different texture, I prefer the more rubbery dense foam to the breathable matte stuff, though swapping them was a little tricky, if you're having trouble try pushing up from the bottom of the grip, not trying to pull it upward. I was concerned about the desk mount being too thin or cheap, but it's super nice. Nice, thick aluminum with some rubberized pads to protect your desk surface, and the same threaded bolts that my monitor arm uses to mount to my desk. I will say that it needs to be pretty damn tight to not shift around mid-race, so I'll probably add something to widen the face of the bolt a little; it's not a huge issue because I don't feel concerned about the handbrake sliding off my desk, it's just a little disorienting at times and it's such an easy fix I may as well. If you have a different desk that isn't hollow-core and made out of particle board, you can probably just crank this thing super tight and it won't be an issue. Durable, works with my games, helped me improve a little, and does exactly what's advertised! What's not to like?

Good value for money but not perfect
The handbrake works as expected and is less expensive than many brand name alternatives but it's not perfect. One of the screws on the plastic came stripped. Not a big deal since it seems to stay in place fine. There are two design issues I found. First, the handbrake itself doesn't engage for the first third of the travel. The reason is that the handbrake uses a magnet to sense the position and the magnet doesn't reach the sensor until you have pulled it about a third of the way back. The handbrake can be adjusted so that the initial slack is taken out but what's the point of having that much travel if it doesn't do anything, especially since you can make adjustments for dead zone in games. The second issue is that the stop for the handbrake is that small screw on the end that impacts the thin plastic plate. When I drive Dirt Rally 2.0, the handbrake subs as a clutch and you just let go causing a hard impact. While I haven't had any issues yet, I expect that eventually the plastic plate on the end will break. The clamp could also be a bit better. The foam on the underside came lose a bit and caused some rubbing or pulled the finish off my desk. It's also just a metal disk on the bottom so it is likely leaving some marks though I haven't checked since it's on the bottom and I don't care. I was able to solve the issue with the foam pads by just putting wrapping a post-it note around the edge of my desk but it would be nice if the clamp used a more durable pad. Aside from that, it's a handbrake and works as expected and it's impressive that they can pack that much metal and plastic in plus the electronics for just the price. (I think I paid around $120) Even with the small issues, I would still recommend it over a $300 handbrake unless you just have money to blow. Just make sure you protect your desk and maybe add a rubber washer behind the adjustment screw to absorb some of the impact.

Solid Hand Brake for Sim Racing
Sturdy and Perfect for Racing Sims! This hand brake attached easily and feels very solid. I use it in my racing simulation games, and it stays in place even with rapid shifting. The materials are heavy and good quality, making it a great addition to my setup.

Handbrake worked great when it did. Now all of a sudden its saying the usb/driver is corrupted and no longer works. Had a fanatec for years and did not give me one single issue. Save your money. I only got this because it was in stock

Longevity
Works well, sturdy build, just has issues after about a month of use it will constantly be registering a slight input making the brake be on a couple percent permanently, otherwise than that, and its inability to be used on certain games makes it not worthy of 5 stars

Works like an actual hand brake!
Works as it should nice quality, looks good too! It is even pressure sensitive! I thought it was just going to be a switch that the handle just activated to apply e break but it actually is way more functional than that !

No instruction manual was given
Atleast you should have sended some instructions on how to assemble it i have 4 screws and a spring left and i donโt know where to screw them otherwise excellent quality and the manual for installing in pc was the greatest part . Working absolutely great ๐๐ฅ

Could have a stronger spring
Works well for the price paid but spring could be stronger. All in all I would happily buy again.

ANALOG HOLY MOSES - GO 64 BIT
I was so used to "push a button, lock the wheels and skid" that i was not expecting the thing to be sensitive on the hand brake, i gave it a gentle pull on this corner at Harju (WRC8..thanks amazon games) that normally would send me bum into the wall, but I felt like Rally God and wasn't even taking it seriously, just testing and setting it up. Tried it again with more pull and bum into the wall. more pull and ate it all together, like i was pushing the handbrake button of y'ore. Tried another stage in Turkey with a bunch of donuts and it was fantastic. Have it paired (for now) with the logitec g920 on a basic stand. I got it with the manual set up but had to make a choice today on how to set it up, I unhooked the manual setup and went to flappy paddle for now, till I can configure my stand better during the day when neighbours below me aren't sleeping. Long story short, I put this off for too long. I'm not worried about lap times, just fun factor. This has it for what I (and I am guessing you if you are reading this) are trying to accomplish. As close as one can get to their flavour of racing from the comfort of home. Whether fun, lap times or trying to be the next Jimmer Broadbent, this thing or others like it are worth it. Cheers.
