Great quality
Really well built, robust, and easy to use. I would not recommend trying to use this in place of a professional, as it is VERY LIKELY that you could crack your window during the removal. I ended up cutting most of the urethane sealant no problem, but it wasn’t enough where I could fully remove the window. Again, great product, but use caution if you’re trying to save the window you remove.

Works well, made cutting out the back window in my truck a lot easier!!
Worked well to cut out the back window in my truck. I originally tried using a folding utility knife, which worked, but took a lot of effort and caused a few blisters from my rubbing on the window. This longer knife made it a lot easier and a lot more controllable with the long handle to grab with my other hand. There is a cap in the handle so you can store spare blades in the handle if you choose but I left that out as I can't seem to get it to fit very well and it keeps falling out. I also prefer to keep my blades in the dispenser they came in until I'm ready to use them. I haven't tried it yet but I imagine this knife would work well for cutting house carpet too.

Windshield out in under 10 minutes
Windshield out in under 10 minutes! Used the razor blade that came with it. Leverage is your friend, use the tool's length to your advantage. I tried the wire method first but it kept breaking so I ordered this. Just work your way around the inside of the windshield until its loose. You will need to use some muscle! Don't forget to put some tape around the outside first so it doesn't fall out. Very sturdy, worth the money.

it takes some work to find a good technique for use
It is essentially an oversized razor knife. The better the blade you use with it, the better it works. Best bet for successful use is to cut into the urethane at an angle, keeping the dull edge of the blade at a 90 degree angle to the urethane your trying to cut with it, making several passes to fully cut through it.

American made! Works great
I was shocked to find that such a reasonably-priced tool was American made. It is very sturdy and so far is working well. Takes standard drywall knife type blades. The length gives you enough leverage to cut out urethane windshields from inside the car. It takes some muscle to use but it does work.

Used to cut Tahoe/Yukon window out of the junkyard.
I used this to cut the rear panel side glass out of GMC Yukon at the junkyard to replace a shattered one in my Tahoe. It did the job but took me quite a while. You have remove interior trim and cut glass from the inside. I think its easier this way. Plus you won’t scratch the paint as much. Make sure you replace blades with fresh ones once you think the cutting of polyurethane has gone stale. I picked up a pack of Milwaukee blades at HD for about 2 bucks. In short, this will help cut glass out of a car, you just have to find what works best for you. I saved like $300 doing the job my self. You can also buy the 3M window glue here on Amazon to glue your glass. It’s about $27 bucks.

Excellent buy
Very pleased with long knife. Very sturdy and robust build quality retaining a narrow profile. Nice holder in the back for blades. Blade holder would be better with a screw on cap instead of the pop off cap but 5 stars for this one.

Plastic cap on handle falls out. Looks cheap.
Works ok but not what I would expect for USA made.
