Nice quality, material, and color.
Great phone case! Exactly as pictured. Love the leather and the MagSafe feature. This is my second one, first one lasted about 3 years but started to break and chip around the edges. The leather will patina on the edges, but that is as expected for real leather and gives it character. I’d buy again!

Apple leather cases protect against CRAZINESS
This is my fifth(?) Apple leather case. They're so great. Crazy things have happened to my phones in these cases, but the screen never breaks or scratches. (I refuse to use screen protectors.) Eventually the case wears down or the phone needs to be upgraded, and that's usually when I get a new one, but my point is that the phone itself has endured all kinds of things in these cases--been thrown across the street while I tried to break up a fight; fell off my scooter at 20mph and cartwheeled along the asphalt for several yards--no damage, no matter what. It's wild. I'm so upset that Apple is discontinuing these... buy one while you can!

Dress your iPhone with the best
My last three iPhones have been dressed in genuine Apple leather because, honestly, nothing beats it in terms of quality, durability, look and feel. The Apple silicone case sucks. It collects dirt and doesn't slide easily in and out of your pocket. The clear hard plastic shell case by Apple seems designed to slip right out of your hands during use. It gets scuffed and doesn't do much do dampen impact. The leather case just looks and feels right. My last two survived 2 years each without too much wear when the time came to upgrade. Do yourself a favor, buy the Apple leather case.

Simple
I like how simple of a design this is, apple always seems to make products simple but high quality. The inside of the case has a nice felt lining . Metal button covers on the side has a nice click feeling while turning the volume up and down. I’ve also dropped it multiple times and my phone is fine, this is a MagSafe case so you can charge and use mag safe accessories with this case .I like getting apple leather cases because they are thin simple and strong. As for the price it’s a little high but you pay for what you get.

It's almost perfect
Using on an iPhone 13 Pro, the new light blue color. Looks weird in person with that combo so buy a different color if you have the blue iPhone. It is soft to hold in a way and my phone doesn't slip at all even when I'm barely holding it. The color is really nice and....idk how to say it, it just seems right to be on the phone. And I don't like leather at all but this is great. I've always used otterbox cases because I have young boys but now that they are just a tad older they never touch my phone so I don't worry about it at all. I almost want to say that if you're not in the habit of dropping your phone then you don't need a case anyway if you have a 13 pro. I've been using an iPhone without fail since 2007 and I dropped ONE phone ever and it was the 5c Green one so when it hit the stairs it cracked the second it hit. But that phone was made out of meme materials and we all know that. So anyhoo, this case is really that nice. You just forget it's there when you are holding it and it is worth the money for the quality.

Best phone case I’ve ever owned
It’s expensive, but it’s the best phone case I’ve ever used. I tend to take my phone out of the case a lot just cause I like the way phones feel without a case. This is the only case I’ve ever used where I don’t feel the need to take it off. The one issue is that if it’s dropped, it has a chance of denting because it’s soft leather. Over all, I love this case.

Magsafe is Apple at its most wasteful and greedy
Upgrading to an iPhone 13 Pro from an iPhone XS had me pretty starry eyed at first - catching up on three years worth of new features was an exciting prospect. I was especially excited about Magsafe accessories, but Apple’s offerings are so disappointing that it makes me wish I had held out for a Pixel 6. Let’s go over the details of the case first, in case you want to know what the experience is like: it’s exactly like putting on a normal case. The rims cause friction, which is good! You don’t want this thing falling off. But it’s definitely not the effortless snap-into-place you might have expected from Apple’s marketing. And taking it off is much harder than a normal case. The magnets are *strong*. Again, that’s good, but completely contrary to Apple’s marketing. I was expecting effortless case swapping, but had to wrench this thing off with so much force that I was afraid I would cause a permanent bend to the leather. The case itself is fine. It is worth $40 tops. The buttons are plasticky and the thin leather is unlikely to survive a fall without tearing. The rims provide so little protection that it’s a 50/50 chance a fall impact will have dire repercussions. I’m ashamed to admit that part of my decision to go Official Apple was the idea of swapping case colors on the fly, which has gone out the window with how exasperating the removal process is. But hot-swapping cases isn’t the main reason anyone wants to buy *this* Official Magsafe Case. You want to take advantage of the shiny new charging ecosystem Apple has promised. Unfortunately, it’s such a joke that I wish I had gone with Android or, better yet, kept my XS. If you want to use that Magsafe Charging Puck, here’s what you need: • This case (or a similarly expensive one that includes the magnets needed to take advantage of the increased power) - $60 • The puck - $40 • A USB-C charging brick - $20~ No, you can’t use your USB-A brick from two iPhones ago. Apple decided that, after leading into “no free wall charger” under the guise of environmental advocacy, they’re just going to make you buy a new one and throw out your old one anyway. Their USB-C brick is $20. Generic is $10. Make your choice. It’s going to be over $100 for Magsafe either way. To add insult to injury, the puck might be the worst designed charger I’ve ever used. The magnets are so strong you have to use two hands to snap it off, removing the “effortless” gimmick of wireless charging. You have to move it around a bit to make it fully snap into position, removing the “just pop it on” illusion Apple’s marketing presents. The cord is a pathetic three feet long, which means you can’t use it comfortably while charging if you’re sitting on the couch or laying in bed. The cord is hardwired to the puck, so you can’t add a longer cable. It’s completely inferior (and three times more expensive) than a generic case and a 10 foot Lightning cable. But what about the *ecosystem*? My first glimmer of hope: Magsafe could be a godsend for car convenience. Guess what: there are *no* official Magsafe car chargers. Your options are either a Magsafe *mount* (which snaps your phone into place so you can connect your normal Lightning car cable for the low low price of $40) or a $35 mount *for the $40 Magsafe puck* which allows you to suspend the overpriced disc from your air conditioner. Oh, and you’ll doubtlessly need a $20ish USB-C car adapter too. That’s about $100 USD for the “seamless” experience of being able to use Magsafe in your car instead of sliding it in and out of a plastic mount. How about charging on the go? Well, Apple no longer sells their fantastic battery cases - you have to shell out for their $100 Magsafe battery pack which *cannot fully charge an iPhone*. These battery packs are unwieldly and swivel uncomfortably while you hold your phone. Sure, competitors sell magnetic battery packs for half the price with more capacity, but even then they’re not half as convenient as my old iPhone XS battery case. Unofficial magnet batteries also aren’t Magsafe Sanctioned, so they charge at half speed. So if you want to use Magsafe charging at home, and on the go, *and* have a Magsafe battery for backup, you’re looking at about $300 in extra costs on top of the price of an iPhone 12 or 13. Sure, you could use generics for a lot of this stuff, but only Magsafe Official Products will wirelessly charge your phone at a reasonable speed. (And there’s no other way to get those endorphins from having Official Apple Whiz-Bang Animations when snapping on their overpriced battery, of course.) Even at this premium, the experience pales in comparison to the convenience of what you may already own. Every step of the way, Apple has designed the Magsafe standard for maximum profit and minimum convenience to customers. And all of this is fixable! Bring back the battery case. Open up the Magsafe ecosystem. They could even let us ***switch out the cord*** on the puck. But no. Apple’s strategy is unbelievably disappointing, and bodes poorly for my personal future choice in phones. Go with a cheaper case, keep using your normal accessories. The seamless wireless future is a long way off.

Bellissima

A beautiful case, but at a predictably high price. Is it worth it?
I bought this on the enthusiastic recommendation of an Apple-mad friend, though frankly I find the idea of spending so much money on a simple case a bit disturbing… So, now that I have taken the plunge, is it worth nearly £60? To start with, it is a genuinely beautiful item. The leather seems to be of excellent quality, perhaps a little softer than I had expected. The inside has a suede like texture, that I suspect helps hold the phone securely, and should help prevent scratches. I chose the green colour, which matches the Amazon and Apple promotional photographs. Reading other reviews, it is worth while pointing out that my example grips the phone very securely, and I can’t see how it might slip out of the case. I have already taken it out once (to fit the screen - see below) which took a fairly determined amount of pressure to do. The edges of the case, around both the screen and the camera section, are raised enough to provide some protection. The case feels great in the hand, and looks like a genuinely premium product. My only real concern is how it might wear over time. As I said, the leather is quite soft, and I wonder how it may survive knocking around in a pocket with keys, for example. In particular, the raised edges around the three cameras look potentially vulnerable. Apple talk about leather cases developing a patina, which is fine by me, but some reviews here have talked about scratching and marks over time. I would be surprised if it matched my previous case, the Spigen Air, for sheer protection value, but I am very careful with my phones...I will see how the case ages over a few months, and will add to this review if there are any problems. Incidentally, I also fitted the Spigen EZfit glass screen cover, which is a fantastic product – see my review elsewhere. If you need an ultra-tough case and are price-led then this probably not for you. However, if you are prepared to pay for what is a luxury product, then this Apple product gets a generally enthusiastic recommendation from me. I just hope that it proves to be durable!

Terrible quality
This “genuine Apple” case only lasted a few months before it was too far gone to be seen. Doubts about it being genuine are coming to mind.

Apple original always the best
They cost a ridiculous amount of money for what they are (don't most Apple products?!). But the original Apple cases are just the best. Best fit, best feel, best quality. This feels like every other leather iPhone case I ever had - easy to hold, soft leather and superior fit and protection. Completely recommend this despite the extortionate price!
