This cleanser is absolutely wonderful. The balm texture is rich and luxurious, melting effortlessly into the skin and breaking down makeup, sunscreen, and impurities without any tugging or dryness. It leaves my skin feeling clean, calm, and deeply nourished—not tight or stripped. The ginger and turmeric scent is subtle and soothing, and a little goes a long way. This product is insane. Love True Botanicals, this is a stunning product. I started using because traditional cleansers and washes were leaving my skin so dry and irritated. Was recommended by an esthetician and what an amazing purchase. I leave mine in the shower and it’s such a luxurious and bright smell, the feel of the cleanser is truly a balm. I wish it was a moisturizer! It’s so beautiful I can’t possibly recommend higher!

I like this cleansing balm overall — it feels nice on the skin and leaves my face soft and refreshed. The scent is pleasant too, which makes the experience even nicer. But I’m still not completely sure how well it removes makeup on a deeper level. It takes off the surface layer, but I can’t tell if it really cleans out the pores or if some residue stays behind. I also wouldn’t say it’s super economical — I need a decent amount each time to feel like it’s working. Because of that, I’d recommend using it as part of double cleansing: first the balm, then a gentle face wash, just to make sure everything is fully removed.

Favorite stuff to clean my face with after a long day. I’ve tried a lot of facial cleansers and this is by far my favorite. Great smell, smooth, doesn’t burn eyes, creates a slight lather when massaged with warm water.

I have been using this product twice a day for about 10 days or so. I am new to double cleansing and was using a different product from Ulta. Never knew the benefits of double cleansing and while I was using the other product, I didn't see real results and decided to give up. However, I had seen this ginger tumeric cleansing balm all over my social media and figured, why not. HOLY COW!! My makeup melts off my face using this. It tackles even waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Put a small dime sized amount in your hand and emulsify it in circular motions all over your face and neck. Once you've done that, wet your hands a little and continue in your circular motion for another minute longer. Follow up immediately with your preferred water based cleanser. Don't rinse off the oil based cleanser first. Every remnant of the days dirt, grime, makeup and whatever else is completely gone, leaving your face glowing and feeling fresh. Oil attracts oil and while you're cleansing your face, you're not stripping it from all of your naturals from your skin. Within just a couple O's uses, your skin will feel so smooth, plush, bright and glowing. This is going to to be a staple in my skincare routine. By far, hands down the best oil based cleanser on the market.
