The connector is nylon insulated and used to connect 2 or 3 wires. It is self stripping, flame retardant and moisture resistant. 3M Scotchlok Insulation Displacement Connector 314 is 600V rated for building wire and 1000V rated for signs, fixtures and luminaires. It withstands temperatures of 221 degrees F (105 degrees C). UL Listed, CSA Certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant. Application: Use Part No. 314 to electrically connect two or three wire ends, insulate the connection, and provide a moisture resistant seal. Wire Range: 22-14 AWG Solid or stranded, tinned or untinned (0,5-1.5 mm2) copper conductors. Rehice el cableado y en vez de empalmes utilicé estos conectores, son muy fáciles de usar. Las indicaciones dicen que hay que utilizar pinzas para apretarlos, pero con 3 cables de cobre calibre 14 dentro eso no me funcionó, así que utilicé un martillo y todo bien!
