Very sharp, easy to use

I can recommend these. They look like they were made with care unlike some of the Chinese made nippers. They are sharp and work great. The only thing that caused me to take a star off was the blades, they are straight, I was looking for curved blades.

These are simply amazing nippers/clippers. Design is great - box joint for long term reliability, strong spring clips, comfortable handles, good blade shape, etc. Material and machining are super high quality - these are very robust and precise - and that precision level is really important since the tool is intended to cut close to your nail bed, cuticle, etc. The fact that these are engineered and fabricated in the UK makes me happy too.

I did not realize how easy it was to cut nails with a clipper like this! Razor sharp, and strong!

Good product, well designed, but blades clearly not as sharp as could, and should be. I can and will use them, but do wish they were just sharp enough to not have to place as much strain on the rest of the instrument as is required. Dullness lowers ability for quick, more desirable, less taxing outcomes. Not the first to comment on this. Otherwise nice instrument. Seems some say sharp, some, like me and others, dull, not sharp. Manufacturing problems perhaps, just don't get, while some say sharp, others disappointed with dullness. Could be a manufacturing and quality issue e.g. get the right ones -- maybe ok, others, not so lucky. Vendor take note. There is an issue and it should be acknowledged and addressed. Happy to send mine back so you can see. .

These things are very good nail cutters. Cutting edge is straight not curved.

Looks well-made and sturdy, so I gave it a 2-star, but what's a nice professional expensive tool for if it doesn't work. The edges are blunt. I'm disappointed because I liked the look and feel of the tool and how the blades are flush, but it's useless. I tried it on the edge of a nail, and instead of cutting the nail, it kept sliding off. Then I tried it on a hangnail, and it pinched it like a pair of tweezers; it didn't snip it. I'm returning this and don't recommend it, unfortunately.
