UNEXPECTED HIGH QUALITY
I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this knife. It is not finished as well as a $400 knife but I would never be bashful about this knife. It is a bit heavier than my usual preference which is for one of the NSF food service grade Asian style Nakiris or Chinese chef knives such as made by Dexter Russell or Mercer. After cooking three meals a day for months, I find myself going to the Tuo more and more often. I love the way the tempered metal blade rings when used briskly chopping. I like the point and the blade shape: there is enough of a swell in the belly of the blade to use a rocking cut; the blade has a point which I miss in a Nakiri. One negative factor is that the smooth grip can get slippery- depending on what you're cutting! Very highly recommended!

The sharpest item I have ever purchased.
I like everything about this cleaver. I have never purchased anything that arrived with such a sharp edge. I use it on vegetables meats herbs etc and it performs perfectly. I am able to cut things up faster and safer than with any cutting instrument I own. It holds its edge and I have yet to have a need to sharpen it. This thing is so sharp you can probably cut a finger off without even realizing it had happened. This is truly the Asian version of a chef knife and is more versatile than the chef knife used in the West. With proper care, cleaning and storage, this cleaver should last a lifetime.

Tuo knives are good quality
I own over 20 Tuo knives across their different knife series. I absolutely love their knives as they are sharp, attractive, priced well and good quality.

I never had a knife cut the way it was supposed to until I got this one
this knife is amazing I felt like I was on a chef show but watch your fingers any little Nick you must know how to manage this knife; it's not for amateurs.

Great value
German steel for low cost, easy to maintain the edge. Good weight and great quality, sharp enough out of the box. Wanted a cai dao that matches my more traditional silver and black western knives, matches perfectly, great wood pattern on handle. Scary at first but cuts through large vegetables like butter, just watch your fingers!

Good value and nice looking, very sharp.
General utility knife for kitchen use. Arrived well packed and very sharp. We bought 4 and they're all very identical/consistent. We're washing them by hand and won't be putting through the dishwasher. It's possible to scratch the finish on the blade if you use and abrasive scrubber-- yeah, I did that but I don't much care, I expect them to show wear. I also expected them to fit the steak knife slots in my knife block but they don't. Oh well, not really a down side. The blade shank is thin but seems strong enough, knife is lightweight, much lighter than another paring knife of a different grade that I got from the same company. I like them.

Works almost as good as the Cutco brand of cheese knife we have but at a fraction of the cost. We will use our Cutco knife at home and use this one in our camper trailer.

Good quality knife with nice packaging. Small in size but weight is good for cutting bone because the metal is thick enough. I used it to cut pork side ribs bones without any problem and damage to the cutting edge. Sharp enough to slice tomatoes. Price is good too. Perfect size for me. If handle can be a bit longer, it will be good for people with big hands.
